  • Excelente!

  • I could play a little of this song. Is there tablature available somewhere for this song? It's one of those songs That i feel like I should know and I should be playing.

  • yes there is but i can't send urls in youtube comments, even in my own videos! I'm sending you a link by message.

  • Hi i'm a diatonic harmonica player. Can you help point me in the fast track direction to chromatic? This song is th efirst song i'm gonna work on always wanted to play it!!

  • Not the easiest one to start with chromatic, but for fast track : forget about note bending at first, the chromatic is sensible to the amount of breath power you blow/draw into it, so it's better to get used to your own chromatic model. Choose a 12 holes to start with, so you have exactly 3 octaves. I'm sure there are other songs you like that you could try your hand at first with a chromatic if you're new to it. Good luck.

  • Hey, this is pretty cool. I like it. I prefer it on an alto sax, but it's still awesome. Good job!

  • Hi, thank you, me too I prefer it on saxophone :-)

  • Summertime,Blue Skies, nailed em, but this has been a thorn for a couple of months, you do a great job, but this is hard on a diatonic, you give me hope and a Challenge, good work thanks, Do you scuba or freedive?

  • I really like the goggles! I notice you wear very creative headpieces on a lot of your videos. Do you think it's appropriate for a diatonic player to wear hats too. you see I have this great golf hat.........

  • I think there's no problem but make sure there's nothing sticking out from your headpieces.

  • Great job!

What's the name of the book that has the music ? Is it harp tablature or regular music ?

And where did you get the backing track ?

Thanks and sorry for all the questions.

  • Hi, the book is regular music, it's a short collection of blues/jazz standards.

The backing track comes from a midi file, it is playing on Band In A Box software which adds real instruments sounds.

  • Found this from a message about the death of the guy who wrote the song, "Harlem Nocturne."

I'll bet he'd have loved hearing this because you play it superbly!

I'd love to hear you play in person but I'll have to settle for marking this a "Favorite" (I've never done that before). Fantastic!!

  • you have the talent no doubt,

  • argh i love that song. first time ive heard it on the harmonica, sounds fabulous. love it.

  • my favorite tune of all time

  • I like it because it was the soundtrack of the TV series "Mike Hammer" which I liked the atmosphere of :-)

  • That was cool! Nice shower scrunchie! :)

  • Nice head gear lol that must have been a bitch to learn , especially by ear.. awesome job man

  • Hi, thankfully I didn't have to, since I have the music sheet on a book I bought.
