Boy, this is a killer aria and she did a great job on it! She negotiated everything beautifully, plus great top and low notes. So impressive and much better than the Tourangeau version on the Sutherland complete Stuarda. Brava Elina.

She sounds wonderful, but maybe a little bit too wonderful. I don't believe her. It's way too polished and she lacks the fire of an Elizabeth. Way too little fire, but that has always been my critique of this singer so it does not surprise me. Besides that she is obviously perfect.

I would just like a little more expression that's all....

Pour eux, pour être une cantatrice "estimable", il faut être laide et brune, avoir une voix quelconque qui ravit zombies et neurasthéniques; il faut oeuvrer au théatre de Bourges ou Romorantin et enregistrer des CD pour une firme smicarde

Elina's showing us clrearly how versatile she can be. Not only she has a wonderful voice and tecnique she's also a very good taste when it comes about choosing her roles and arias to perform. She's a true artist and a professional on whatever she puts herself to sing. A wonderful mezzo is there. Bravissima Garanca!
