Doesn't black powder bust your barrel? I mean, it has a very high burning temperature, and leaves behind a lot of dirt. You should better use gun cotton, smokeless powder, or even match head powder, as they have lower burning temperatures.

@yommomalama I'd rather not recommend loading it to the full SAAMI loads, even with BP. The paper receiver, bolt assembly and barrel will give way if you do that. :D

Paper or metal, if in your country it is illegal to make your own firearm, DON'T make one out of paper.

If in your country you need to be a gunsmith to make one, at least don't let any neighbours see it and pray the cops never have a reason to search your house (PROTIP: leave it near a camping stove to burn evidence).

In the US I find that making a gun is an almost victimless crime. Even if you sell them to criminals, they were already able to buy them from other places before. In other countries it's different.

If you use match heads as propellant, shave them carefully and if possible use a rubber hammer to crush it. Doesn't matter what you do, never crush more than 3-4 heads at the same time. 9 match heads are enough to propel real bullets so don't use too much inside a casing either. If you respect the fact that casings are supposed to expand against the chamber, and yours can't hold the pressure, you will keep in mind you can't use too much powder.

@bf2lover42 oh no im not making a real powerful bullet.just a nice little bullet that will shoot the tip of a metal ballpoint pen and putting 3 solutions of a cap and putting them in one casing.i dont think tacome tried that though

@victor222444 You mean as in rimfire? Or will you use primer like tacome? Because if you can, buy roll caps. They seem to be cheap online. Used to seal the cap composition, it makes pretty good ignition. It's probably going to shoot the ball point at good speeds.

@bf2lover42 i know that.but i tried a couple minuts ago that if you have a paper bullet and theres a stop for the cap so it wont go any further the firing pin will ignite the cap by just penetrating it.this is just a theory.

@victor222444 Yes it will. You need to be careful because a puncture will make the gas flow backwards instead of going further.

Take a soda can and superglue a small circle. The cap composition is shock sensitive so the firing pin hammering the can circle will detonate it. If it doesn't work, then try your theory. Hopefully the firing pill will seal the puncture.
