So far (5 months later), not a single problem! I have very, very minor niggles about the controls, and the ring around the cooktop can be difficult to clean, but every range has issues of that sort.
This range got the highest score in Consumer Reports' recent test. Other induction ranges are now on the market. but I haven't seen anything dramatically better yet.

any downside of this GE induction? I have to buy 1 today at sears (its on sale) and thinking between Samsung and GE profile. Thanks...

@MVillarSucks this particular one, the reviewer was tapping his hand onto the top saying that it's still warm.
