Agreed with your points. If you put a lot of work and thought into your videos, there's no correlation to an increased audience size. Basically, if you want to be Internet famous, then you have to go with what is mainstream -- celebrity based news, current events, or pop culture related material that will become dated and irrelevant in DAYS if not hours.

I rarely watch popular YouTubers I enjoy watching smaller YouTubers. Most people do have a short attention span. I do understand what you are saying about jump cuts. Female YouTubers do tend to get judged on looks I was watching a video the other day and it was crap it had 30,000 plus viewsand it was boring but she was gorgeous so I guess that is why she was so popular, weird it is like high school all over haha. It seems making smart/funny videos does nt seem to be the key to success on YT.

It's nothing but Airhead TV, i occasionally watch their stuff and always feel like i lost some braincells, the only one i like but almost never watch is MissHannaMinx, yes she has big eyes and boobies, but it's a funny way to learn some japanese!

The majority of the viewers for the top youtubers are kids who aren't fully developed mentally yet and need instant gratification.Most of the top youtubers videos are either taking other people's videos and saying cock and fart jokes,or making idiotic skits and pointless short vlogs.The only big youtuber I like is Sxephil.He does a lot of giveaways now,2 a week,but he speaks his mind.
