Yea the v6 does. 3 cylinders is great on the highway dumbs ass once your cruising you only really need 4 any way. I get like 35 mpg on the highway so if that's idiotic owell I'm saving gas
Umm kid I drove an Impala for work with the 3.9L engine.. while the 3.5L V6 DOES NOT offer active fuel management, the 3.9L V6 on the 2LT and LTZ DOES. It only really goes to 3-cylinder when I'm cruising on the highway or rolling on a roadway, however.

True I have the 3.5L and it doesn't have AFM. But i don't need it cause its a 3.5L LOL

Active Fuel Management is only on the V8, not the six cylinder. Three cylinders is just idiotic.

Why idiotic? It works great. I get about 29 MPG with the AFM system.

its NOT ON THE V6! Only the V8. Because 3 cylinders are useless unless your on a riding lawn mower.
