GH2 hacked other GH2 not hacked, which is which?

Hmm! This is so confusing. On the right I see jerky motion, lagging silhouettes, darker shadows but warmer colors. On the left, all is better but color temperature. More detail?

If hacked is on right I will not use these settings anyway.

Why are some sequences off horizontal balance even though you are not zooming? Will look for more of your film sequences. ;-)

I think after observing some details and contrasts thant the Hacked GH2 is at LEFT.

When you're seeing this scaled down the right side has better detail for some reason, but when I full screened the video, the left has better detail, so I'm going to say left side.

The more 3D effect will take the lead if you re-put/switch the two of picture. Put the right picture to left side, and the left picture into right side (without crop/let it originaly). :)

The oneon the right is hacked. I know, it's hard to tell, even here at my computer.  For some reason, the left side is lighter, even though the settings are the same. The file sizes for the right side are at times 50% to 75% larger depending on the shot.

I was sure that the right was the hacked. I consider it to be more contrasted, even clearer. I liked it more. What exactly is this whole thing with the hacked Lumix GH2? I saw several clips about this hacking. Is it another firmware for the camera?

I've posted the links where I learned how to do it. Follow these instructions exactly as stated. Keep in mind that I'm not an expert on this. This was only my second hack. Don't get frustrated, I know I did. Read the very first update at the top of the article, which gives you a link for the latest PTools, which is actually the interface for setting your perameters. Downloaded it and just look at because the article makes reference to it, otherwise it won't make sense

You're welcome, soon I'm gonna do one of close ups, objects with great detail, floors and such. I'm also, if I can, video my experiment with my DVX 100 to show how I did it. That way you can see both cameras side by side on the tripod.

You are right. If you are shooting for the web, why hack it. Here's what I did. I mounted both of my Gh2s side by side on a piece of aluminum which I mounted on my tripod. Both cameras at identical settings. The one on the left is not hacked. The one on the righ is, I used the GOP3 settings. For some reason the right is darker, even in the camera while I was shooting I could see that.
