  • What library was your engine written over?

  • @gasto5 written using gml, essentially using it for an organizing environment, and only using the standard library

  • Seems like a great puzzle game. I'll subscribe just to know when it is finished.

  • this is really cool, good concept :D

  • @Blacklemon67a thank you good sir... I need to finish it :|

  • How about allowing players to tie their ropes together for some reason? Or swing them around? Sticky ropes?

Sorry I just realized this is a nine month old post. =\

  • @L00NGB00W Sticky ropes? sounds possible... but sticky like you throw them towards a wall and they stick...

Anyway, this game is currently in inactive development, since I've figured out more elegant methods.

I'll probably finish the map maker, and distribute a single player version... maybe with a pre-scripted computer assistant :|

  • Perhaps add an ability which allows players to emit a repulsive/ attractive field?

  • @L00NGB00W That magnets already work like that

  • @PicklePumpers Thanks :)

This is also spawning an online project. However both projects have been slowed due to router issues while creating the server.

Either way, thanks again for the kind words.

  • @kei1010101010 fucking youtube, disabled the ratings D:

    I re-enabled them :)

    Thanks :)

  • This looks neat. How did you do it?

  • looks awesome I'd really like to try playing it

  • @xxwolfwoodxx1 do you still live with your dad, at the old house?

I want to visit you guys :)

Also, if I can, I'll send a version with the single player-mouse-keyboard control setup as the default.

Oh, and I should send you the map file maker, so you can help me with something I kinda suck at, and that's making maps :)

  • looks like a bad ass game

  • Very good job. If you need another music composer, just tell me!

  • @CumputerPhysiscsLab if you have any music for me to listen to, I might use you :)

Credit will be given for any contributions, except for simple comments of coarse XD.

But if something you make gets in the game, then I'll give full credit :)

  • dude this game looks amazing.

a few very unique concepts working here, and co-op is a must!

let me know if you need any music for it when you come close to finishing.

  • @SoundsLikeRampage

Definitely... though the main game engine is basically finished... and I've already been looking for people to do the music... I tried contacting starship amazing... and I have a friend who does retro music... but hey, if you want, I'd love to have you on my team :)

Looking at your channel, I see you have that zelda remix, which sounds awesome, but I don't see any compositions of your own. :|

Do you have any to show what you can do? :)

Either way, the remix sounded great

  • This really looks good. Welcome back.

  • @xtaboi hey!!! :D

    How have you been? :)

  • welcome back

  • So glad to see you back, my dear!!!! Looks great

  • @TheReasonWhyGuy Of course I have the same username, and website name and twitter account name etc.

  • This looks really cool. It kind of reminds me of knytt stories, or lemmings.

  • Hey. HEY!? Is this a god-damned Co-op 2D puzzle platformer?

I think I just died and went to heaven.

    I would buy this.

    LONG LIVE 2D SPRITE GAMING!

  • Looks pretty amazing dude. Revolutionary.

  • @TheReasonWhyGuy lol not at the moment. i havnt been on youtube for a while

  • that looks cool

  • Hey ReasonWhyGuy, I figured it had to be "game like", but thought it might just be a game engine without a game. Nice work either way :)

It looks it's going to be a blast to play. Almost like the classic Jumpman and Loderunner games.

  • wow amazing; playable demo?

  • multiplayer? awesoome

  • Really nice work. When you say 'binary script mutations' are you talking about genetic algorithms?

  • @julsHz Seems to be the beauty of the coding- my advisor used it to find optimal placement for interferometric telescopes. The solution seemed 'random', but worked beautifully. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers!

  • @TheReasonWhyGuy

    Thank you ReasonWhyGuy !

My son is learning programming for games and algorithms such as pathfinders, he uses C++, actionscript and some old language he learned at school. He could be interested in your work so thanks for the kind offer.

WB stands for welcome back !

  • Nice work and wb !

How do you program this ?

  • is it multi player or is that Ai just bar shit intelligent!!!?

  • Hey cool puzzle game, much like eeh... much like nothing I ever seen!

Well no, I've seen quite many puzzle games since I've been playing games on the C64 >> Amiga >> PC...

This one looks cool enough! a bit like benefactor combined with worms and hired guns(although it's a "3D" style)

  • Coooool. Glad your sorta back. ;)

  • nice work

  • Is this a real game, or just an animation?

  • yay! you're back kinda :D
