  • @xshado2 you only smoked 3yrs.. Its much more different 4 someone who 5, 10, or 20yrs

  • I am thinking seriously about giving up, I planned to stop this week. i spent all my money and now i am pulling apart the bumpers in my ashtray.

  • i'm on my forth day, im sick asa dog, and i can barely get any sleep. i want to smoooookke

  • @itstonymannn did u make it

  • Anyone remember the movie "Waterworld"? Remember how the bad guy in that movie paid his henchmen? With packs of smokes! Smoking is for control and power to those who provide it, power over those who can't do without it. Don't be a puppet on wispy strings of smoke, man up and overthrow that demon from your life.

I'm struggling too, not buying or bumming tobacco is the first step to quitting.

The next step is willpower. You have to WANT to quit MORE than you want to smoke.

  • It's way easier to quit pot than tobacco. Pot is more expensive (though that depends on where you live) and harder to obtain (again, depending on where you live). Tobacco can be obtained nearly everywhere. Even homeless people with no money at all can go pick butts out of a public ashtray. It's being forced on smokers by simple convenience which makes the addiction harder to break. If you can't obtain something, it's easier to put it out of your mind than when it's all around every day.

  • been smoking since i was 14 and i 17 now. i got up to a pack a day and honestly all it took is for my grandmother to have open heart surgery because of smoking to make me stop.

  • @vPoyZon I'm 17 too.. started 14... nothing happened to me actually, I just decided that its useless so I threw my packets out and spent the first 3 days in my room (first 3 days are the hardest).. then BAM! what do you know, I don't smoke anymore... Its really not that hard, you just have to care enough to do it... and man up to the urges

  • lol Is this a joke?

  • Totally made by a non smoker. Non smokers don't realize what its like having to deal with being unfocused, having that voice yelling at you and feeling lost after you've not had nicotine in a while. I'm trying to quit cold turkey and its so difficult. I break at the end of the day and have a few. There is no special technique to do it, you just have to have the will power to overcome the urge and feeling.

  • Thank you for taking the time to say that. Your right.

  • This video was apparently made by a non-smoker

  • @archymtln Agreed...Thats why i quit recently...

  • This video made me need the bong more than usual....

o why is the green plant so controling of my life

  • @krisdunn09 Pot doesn't control you, anymore than junk food does. The addiction is all psychological (albeit powerful). I used to smoke too much pot, however, I quite about three months ago. Now, I no longer have the need to smoke pot. Also, I'm not saying that Pot is bad, however, when you're addicted to something, the first thing that you must do, is 'admit it'. Anyway, if you quite, the addiction goes away.Just make sure that if you use it in the future, you don't return to your bad habits.

  • Many people determine it's tricky to quit smoking. Giving up could certainly be difficult, nevertheless itýs not unattainable. Quite a few people today like you have give up using tobacco. You will also. Counseling, and other supports may assist you stop for more info Visit: w w w [dot] bit [dot] ly/cur92P

  • Cold turkey is the hardest, but it's the fastest. At least from my experience. I had a week and a half of withdrawal, and a month of craving. I was off it for 3 years until I fell when in a high-stress situation, but I switched the cigars out for snus.

  • @mestupkid185 did you give up smoking or did you lose your mind ?

  • Great advice. All you have to do is get over the initial first 3 weeks and the urges are gone. However this first 3 weeks is hard but if your that determined it shouldn't be too long. Just do stuff you love to do for 3 weeks, eat what you love to eat etc. Then your basically a free man/women. It worked for me and I smoked a pack a day for 5 years.

  • the point is, look at your life, when you have a smoke, and then take note of that... Stop smoking , and then whatever makes you want to smoke or the times when you want a smoke... do something else or cut the smoking stress stuff out of your life....

  • I' sixteen and have been smoking for about 2 and a half years... have tried twice before to quit, but hopefully this tie I will succeed.

  • try chantax it really did work

  • I can't remember why I started in the first place. Too impress a girl I think "Look how cool I am cough cough". She's long since gone but the smoking remains. Stupid

  • @SickmanDamian666 exactly, there are alot of stupid reasons why people start, mine was when i didnt have any weed i needed something to puff on, i smoked for about 5 months and that was it for me. Now ive made the decision to quit. Good luck to anybody else also wishing to quit

  • the first week is gonna be rough as hell but once you get past that you are homefree!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

  • It's so hard i just cant stop smoking i tried alooooooooooot of times.People i need a real solution here, this isn't working out for me

  • @humanspider92 try chantax it will make you nausous but chemo therapy will too

  • @humanspider92 its like for everyone dude...im 19 and ive failed multiple times but trust me, if u REALLY want to quit, than you will.

  • I love how people assume that just because someone is young they've never experienced anything significant. I know people who are 16 and have been smoking for 4 years, so when Mousa says he has quit why don't you congratulate him instead of belittling his situation, probably cause you're jealous a kid was able to quit and you can't.

  • this is hard... i get debates in my head to go back like ciggerates play tricks on ya

  • dude really i had that happend today it was like "go smoke a cig" then "no fight it" that went on for hours

  • i bet your still smoking.

  • Well at least this one offered advice appart from the other quit smoking one lol.

  • lol thats wrong

  • i quit smoking cigs by smoking bud instead... worked for me.

  • @nathanjohnson909 I sure couldn't quit smoking that cold turkey.

  • @nathanjohnson909

    i did the same thing

  • I'm 30 and preparing to give up red wine and smoking cold turkey. It sucks. But the good things in life are the bad things in life.

  • red wine is fine a couple glasses on the weekends has Antioxidants that Benefit your body unless you drink bottle after bottle in excess.

  • stop trying to quit just quit ... no reasons you should smoke ... try to get out of ur natural environment for 2-3 weeks to stop then when u go back you can't have just one cigarette because you don't smoke ne more

  • Comment removed

  • This guy has no clue what he is talking about. All I need to say.
