I have 0 appreciation for teachers. I will care about teachers getting paid more when they (as a group) start doing there damn job. Even a decade plus removed I still cringe at the thought of most of my teachers. Ms. Enko who chopped off her own finger in class because she was screaming about how we were all "little fuckers" or Ms. Valdavino who was called Vodka-vinos because she was a drunk. Mr. Jensen who used to flash his junk at the 14yr old girls in PE class. Yeah. Lets pay em more...

most people could handle a teachers job for a weak. public school enviroment is a very dangerous place.just spend one day in a school in Jacksonville, Florida or maybe Chicago. i respect the dedication and bravery of teachers expecially ones in large cities where very few student care about education. i am in japan now and they have like a 5% drop out rate in the states it is almost 50% how is that exceptable and how is lowering the standards an answer thata what no child left behind is.

i have to agree with him. education is a huge problem. the programs he is talking about are a complete waste and cause harm to an already failing education system. trust me i have seen it firsthand. i recently graduated from school. these programs actually penilize schools and teachers who actually teach the students useful information and actually assign students work. teachers have a very hard job. they work countless hours a day and deal with over crowded classes of roitous children.

Teachers have it made, most of them only work 9 or 10 months out of the year, then they bitch about not making enough money...go figure. Nobody twisted thier arm and made them choose teaching, and there is no way they don't know what the pay is before taking the job.
