I did some research about the music. All of the guides have the replacement song labelled as "Solitude" by Jenifer Aubry. However, this is wrong. The song is called "Perfect Alibi", which is on her album Bubble. This is not the first time that Touchstone labelled the wrong song. Usually it's the same artist, just a different song on the album. You usually have to go through the album. Hope that helps!
OMG love love love this scene. you can see the complete relief and joy in his sigh and in his smile when he realizes that she has FINALLY chosen him. i love the tiny bit of aggression when he grabs her face and kisses her over and over. and i love his smile when he gives her "permission granted". sigh. gives me butterflies every time.

Joey sucks as an actor. She's a one-trick pony bordering on precociousness. The Beek sucks, too (except in Varsity Blues)! Michelle Williams as Jen is an awesomely underrated thespian. I hear she's playing Marilyn Monroe opposite Kenneth Branagh as Laurence Olivier. Long live Peter Bishop! But where the heck is he? LOL ;)

Nice little show. Her and Dawson made a perfect couple. But she was such a flip flop in making up her mind. She got what she deserved, Pacey. She didn't deserve Dawson.
As someone who recently finished growing up, its painful to see things like this, and imagine a world where teenagers base most of their time, and decisions around "falling in love" and all that mess. These dramas had the most sensitive people ever.

@JohannaM1989 They reconnect around 2/3 into Season Six (Beginning with a great episode, #615 Castaways, during which P/J are trapped in a K-Mart overnight. You see just them for most of the episode.) only to have Joey bail out of the relationship a few episodes later. You might want to check out the finale as well, if you haven't already.
@Alliewilkinson I had a similar question about music on the show (when it aired) not ending up on the DVD. Apparently, there were copyright issues that resulted in different songs ending up on the DVD (Especially season 3), which is a shame because the Sinead O'Connor song was perfect in the scene between Joey and Dawson at the wedding reception.

Joey looks like she's being tortured during that dance with Dawson. Those two were just a mess who brought out the worse i each other. And the look on Dawson's face when Joey runs off? Well, it speaks for itself. TRUE LOVE forever.
I think this is one of the key episodes that highly influenced the Series finale in which Joey chose Pacey over Dawson (again!). If Joey were to pick Dawson in the series finale, the writers somehow had to have made a story arc to not only Trump over this episode but the entire season 3, they never quite managed to deliver it. Quite simply this episode is TRUE LOVE for so many reasons and this is why Joey chose Pacey in the end of it all.

I think this is one of the key episodes that highly influenced the Series finale in which Joey chose Pacey over Dawson (again!). If Joey were to pick Dawson in the series finale, the writers somehow had to have made a story arc to not only Trump over this episode but the entire season 3, they never quite managed to deliver it. Quite simply this episode is TRUE LOVE for so many reasons and this is why Joey chose Pacey in the end of it all.

To the last commenter. It's about Dawson and his being a self centered kid growing up. He falls in love but he's too stupid to know how to deal with it and his parents didn't set too good of an example.

@zimtim90 he is self centered, and he doesn't have a single relationship during the shows run that changes him, his relationship with Joey never changes, neither does his relationship with Pacey. In his eyes they'll always be the same people. I have to disagree with the parents thing, they got over their history and fell back in love, had another kid, it worked. :-)

@XAYKING a show that lasts longer than five is considered a hit, and dawson's around in the later seasons as he dives into the film world, the fact that he doesn't end up with Joey, doesn't overly matter one, cuz it's two of his good friends hooking up, so the connection to him is there and secondly, they never would have worked, they're way too alike, opposites work for a reason
