I moved here from Maine 2 years ago. What a relief! My family business was going under thanks to the Democrats turning Maine into a European style Fiefdom. After no longer being able to pay up our noses anymore we moved to Somersworth NH. We get to keep what we earn, we are hiring more people than ever, I even have my OWN business over in Portsmouth and thanks to the libertarianism in our state, I can hire more people and pay them a decent wage. You will never have that with liberal socialism.

The new law extending marriage rights to gay and lesbian couples takes effect on January 1, 2010 next year .

If I ever do get married, I certainly will not be telling the government about it. Yeah, we'll have to file our taxes individually — big deal; the various deduction phase-out income limits for married couples are always less than twice what they are for individuals, so I see filing jointly as a disadvantage.

Sadly the only down fall I see to New Hampshire is the fact that since it was an orignal 13th colony there is no hope to have an allodial title there. but I guess you cant have it all. Maybe it could be part of legislation proposed by a libratarian form of government there.. 20 or 40 acre plots would be perfect to have IMHO.

Hey, RR, are you covering the NH Liberty Forum 2010? That would be the ideal type of event to send RR, imo.

Maybe you could publish a "funding page" on your site where people could donate to send you on a given assignment? This liberty forum is the perfect example. Say you had a funding goal of $500 to meet your expenses (incl. hourly rate). People could donate to reach the required amount. Obviously, advance planning is the ideal, like a month out or something.

There's no reason why New Hampshire should be the only place to do this kind of thing, although I do respect and understand the FSP strategry.
