  • awww, i miss Shanghai =(

  • @cybert242 I know what you mean this brings such nostalgic memories!

  • I don't think it's chaotic.

  • At least, they are not travellig like us in Argentina. :)

    watch?v=NYPU0BoCAOA

  • but it smells in there

  • What will win the race to end the world, over-population or pollution?

  • @tycoonpratik The two will act as partners; one begets the other.

  • LABOORR FOOORRRCEEEEEEEEEEE Buhehehe ;DDDDD

  • in poland this is fucking hell -.- from 7 to 9 evry day ...

  • LOL in Paris Is Worst!

  • Imagine if a guy farts in that place.

  • these people saying is crowdy probably never have gone work in rush hour lol..

  • I live London and in rush hour sometime I need to wait 2 trains before being able to get on... London tube is really old and need serious modification

  • Years ago I got on an overloaded NYC Subway car and the doors couldn't close cause of me....... after a while some folks were telling me to get the hell off and wait for another train as the car couldn't go with me preventing the door from closing....... someone tried to push me off but I shoved back in and got in enough to let the door close.

I wasn't waiting for another train.

  • ALL the IDIOTS posting that this is terrible the crowding! are IDIOTS who have never had to deal with a subway metro during rush hour: guess what IDIOTS metro trains in big cities throughout the world during rush hour are like this NORMALLY....... you IDIOTS who have never experienced it need to shut the fuck up cause you don't haven't the clue about the REALITY of a big city metro in the rush hour.

  • hard!!! in germany people never do such things!

  • @Zadiel82 What they dont do ? häää ? Its as full as this XD XD XD XD in a twon with only 145.000 people XD

  • @Zadiel82 wrong. go to berlin and take the U-Bahn at the new years eve. You don't see this in germany simply because the population in germany is eight digites and in china it's 10 digites. actually the germany people are not used to this situation at all, so that some of them become very angry and start to push and kick others very impolitely, which chinese never do!

  • jajaja Van como Sardinas, ya no me quejare del metro del D.F !!! XD

  • Delhi metro is somewhat same.

  • Hi guys look what they did on the italian metro it's fantastic!!! Digit on Youtube: flash mob METRO PARTY.

  • Shanghai metro is the longest system in the world, you fools! It is also the festest growing one. By the end of 2010, over 500km in total! Did you guys think it was just built for show? Hell no! It expends so much because there is the demend for it!

  • This is rush hour afterall, so I'm not really surprised by the crush load of people. Now if you want to see a station that's really crush loaded then you should check out Tokyo. I could only imagine how many people are forced into one cab.

  • Insane ppl..

  • u should try to get in the 2 or 5 and 6 train in the rush hour in new york city subway system... u will be lucky if the close wouldn"t take away a piece of you before it takes off... and the smell oh my god...

  • imagine someone farting in the subway lol.............

  • been there, done that.. they like the smell of digested cabbage in the morning..

  • wow , i yo me quejo de el metro q tengo aqui , cuando va petado

  • to be honest, this isnt that MUCH more crowded that the busy lines and rush hour times when you use the subway in NYC especially manhattan, I lived there my whole life up till a year ago and it was really crowded just like this

  • same in montreal .. gets this crowded on a regular basis during rush hour. i also remember being crammed in a 6 train on the lexington avenue line too, on week days, it gets crazy...

big difference is the cop pushing ppl in the trains. i'd like to see an MTA employee try to do THAT to a bunch of hurried new yorkers on a hot summer day when the stations are at a 140F ..!

  • Look for the video "metro pantitlan 3", its much more crowded than this.

  • I have a question, 1- Those subway trains are made from European Technology? 2- The announces are made only in Chinese? And how about the signs?

  • 1) Made by Alstom

    2) Made in Chinese and English

    Signs too....

Shanghai is a modern city, changing every week, English is most places in signage, and most of the younger generation speak English, especially the Shanghainese. :-)

  • PS - Trains come every 1-2 minutes in rush hours, if you're going to live there, just avoid a connection with Peoples Square!

  • Thaks for your information. I love to see things like subways that suggest modernity and technology. I live in Japan, and here is like this place. We have a bunch of people here from several places around the world. But anyway thanks.

  • 1. Some licensed from SIEMENS-Bombardier, some from Alstom, manufactured by different rolling stock companies in China.

    2. Both in Chinese and English for signs and announ

  • thanks

  • Come to Toronto, Canada for rush hour at the North-South, East-West Interchange at Yonge & Bloor, fucking nuts.

  • idiots should wait for the next one, and they should run more frequent trains - every 2 minutes.

  • because the next train will be as crowded as this one...

  • Also, trains do run every 3 minutes during rush hours, and every 5 minutes during off-peak hours and weekends.

  • Looks like Line 2 got new cars...

  • What happen if there are child and pregnant women in the train?

  • then they are screwed!

  • lmao kspoakspoakposa

  • BUENOS AIRES LINE D AT 6 PM IS WORST !

  • same here, and I live in Montreal, Canada

  • lol soo true orange and green line still we got 4 line not "46" like in shanghai :)

  • This looks like the metro in Singapore during peak-hour.

  • How do people get off at their stops if its crowded and there stuck in the middle of a carriage...????

  • just tell people surrounding you ...you are getting off ..they will make a way for you. AND, plan the move before the train reaches your stop. I do this everyday when I was in Beijing. The rush hour is difficult, but still fast and accurate than driving my own car.

  • lolzz the 4 ,5,6 taing in new york is worts

  • looks just like Tokyo

  • omg you wasted my time this isnt so different to what i go through every morning.... and im in london..!!!!

  • O da Praça da Sé é bem pior, só q não tem um chinezinho pra empurrar pra dentro!

  • I'd rather get on the train than be left out when I need to get somewhere on time just because some niggers and spics don't want to move in like in NYC.

  • When I watch videos of trains in Japan I have seen the pushers pushing people into already packed cars.

  • increible¡¡¡

  • If that were true, then the Japanese government would be even more effective at controlling its populace... -_-

  • why do people think this is crazy? Open your eyes, this normal in rush hour in any big city

  • Well, I only can compare it wit London soo... there's definately a difference; for sure less chaotic and...rude, so to speak..

  • @TE232, hahah come on mate, London's population is half the size of Shanghai's.

Let's see how the Tube can cope with 18 million people. In any case, Chinese metros are much cleaner than the Tube in London.

  • I ABSOLUTELY agree. I´ve experienced peak hour metro travel around the globe, including London and Moscow, and more recently Santiago de Chile. A lot of people wanting to travel at the same time, what do you expect? Much of a muchness. You´re going to be a sardine in a tin can, whereever you go!

  • Yes, this is common and not unusual in Japan for metro and bullet train too, Japanese and Chinese cities are the biggest in the world...

  • damn what a one stop madness!

  • man i've been in that situation when i was like 7 in shanghai, i almost got killed by people trying to step over me cus i'm a kid

  • All the country are same when go to work or finsh work in Rush hour!!!

  • not strange that chinese ppl are fleeing to europe lol.

  • geeze their shoved in there like sardines

  • lol tokyo much more worse than this lol

  • this is like nothing; try tokyo

  • this is indeed shanghai

  • Great! This may look weird to other people, but for me that's nothing special... I got used to it. I've lived in Shanghai for 1 year and this happend to me every day!

  • the guy with the glasses looks like he wants to eat you...stares in the metro: you cannot hide.

  • I live in Shanghai and this is common, but it gets even worse at times. In the summer you can't imagine the sweat and smell with all these people soaked through their clothes. Fun stuff!

  • Uhu, tell me about it. Never the green line on summer. Then it is worth it to take the taxi.

  • Try the district line...

  • It's not that bad, you should visit London, the trains are about half the size and your head would of got stuck in the doors where you're standing!

  • I'm in London right now.. nobody squeezes in a tube like they did in china.. the doors are closing faster and harder but there's always room to evade

  • Which line do you use?
