instead of loosing money on buying guns,some stupid state leaders shoud use it for helping the poors and developing their country (education,justice,war against the corruption and so on). Many folks of many diverse groups say they want Peace. During The Cold War, the US wanted Peace, Russia wanted Peace. There are many perspectives of what this word means and/or what is required for it to be accomplished.

So as we agree with you, David, we might want to reflect on what each of us means and what would be required to bring it about.
