Absolutely AWESOME! :D I could only really hear the blues licks coming in after 6 mins but it sure does have a sweet-as flamenco blend. Even if it doesn't quite show everything you might have wanted it to from both styles, it sure does hit the bullseye when it comes to listening no matter what you call it! Just amazing!
I'm glad you liked it. Yes, it goes from flamenco to blues, more or less. I never intended to show comprehensive flamenco-blues techniques. I just wanted to transmit a gypsy-bluesman groove, which I believe every bohemian spirit of every guitarist has dreamed of being sometime in his life. Some have been lucky enough to have lived it. Thanks for watching and love your tunes.
Hey Robert I really like the name of this song. Not only the name, but the song is exquisite. Your music is always pleasing to my ears. :) Have a good day.
Thank you Vally, my friend. I really enjoy playing it. Actually I try to mix flamenco with blues in this tune, if at all this were possible. I will make a new video with better audio of this song someday soon. God bless.-
I hate this kind of video, because I have some desires of murder... LOL... Seriously, all this noising background, all this lack of respect for music, and for the musician...
When I played for my church, a "religious" silence was made. Nobody would have dare to make any noise!!!
Thanks Mike bro. If I ever go to perform in or around DC area, you'll be the first to know. Likewise, you let me know if you ever come to Houston metro.
Hey Nichole, thanks for commenting. The guitar is a Washburn D-10CEQ with a quilted maple, tobacco sunburst finish. For sound, it has a cheapo undersaddle transducer (UST) routed to an onboard pre-amp. I also added a cheapo soundhole magnetic pickup with a seperate cable. I route both pickups to a mixer. The soundhole magnetic pickup is in reverse (upside down) and eq'ed to full bass and zero mid and treble. All this was then routed to the venue's awesome sound system.
As always - you have magic flying fingers! I also see that the Wired Java Cafe has gone to some trouble to give you a nice foil backdrop! Good move. Are you teaching yet?
Thanks TC! I really appreciate your comment. This performance was back in Feb 2005 and I haven't been to the Wired since mid 2005. BTW, I'm about to develop workshops on advanced fingerstyle techniques such as harmonics, tappings, etc. Do you still have that music instruction business? Perhaps we can talk?
Very cool!

Buddy Jean, that's typical at venues here in Houston. I just tune them out and play oblivious of the noise. Thanks for watching, my brother.
