vougue n wackin are the same shit there brother n sista style ne1 defendin it isnt needs to shut up n get a life....she didnt realli teach very well but i guess u cnt teach a lot in 1:05...she can wack its not hard its jus she is freestylin not realli teachin...the dance isnt bain surgery like street or bboyin its a freestlyin dance...jus cuz its the main dance u lot do doesnt mean it requires a years course, well done 4 tryin latoya
This is THE most embarrasing example of Whaacking I have ever seen! You clearly need to go back WAAAAAY back and do ur research Hunny. And if that was supposed to be a lesson in dance then I dont know wat person is supposed to understand anything ur talkin about. Im really dissappointed in the BBC for airing this and even investing their time into it. TUT TUT!
not a very good example of whacking and vogueing...very simple steps, that arent shown properly. she repeated the same moves continuosly, watch, vogueing or whacking battles...ull get a better insight, its obvious she only knows what she was taught. bless.
It's boom kack, but a kack is a hit when you dance, boom is like something that leads into it. Cos with commercial styles you don't hit hard on a 8 count..So we use like....words and noises. Like we might tut, or clock with our mouth, and say voom, or boom back, or na na..you know.
it's more of a"ka", very common in different hiphop-genres, like whacking, locking, new style, crumping, etc because we don't count our moves in "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8", we dance to the "noises" in the song, like if the beat goes "boom,-ka!-wo-boom,-boboom,-ka-ka," we make noises and do the movements to the sound and not to the "5, 6, 7, 8" :P
It's hard not to know if you don't dance, I understand ^^
cute its still looks alittle funny to me when people mix vogue fem movements with the disco style of waacking because of them being from two different dances like popping and locking, but as time gos by and the vocabulary of the practitioners of this dance grows the understanding will become alot more clear..hehe
VOGUE AND WAACKING ARE TWO CONTRASTING STYLE'S, and only at a High Level Should they be mixed, but when Showing Waacking, Should Be Waacking. To show moves with Vogue confuses people to think they are they same style's, most most people dont have the knowlege of knowing this
No one is disputing the fact that they are two different styles, but the two styles compliment each other which is why so many people mix them. Who are you to dictate at what level different styles of dancing should be mixed? Why don't you stop criticising others and concentrate on yourself because you're certainly not perfect *see your use of grammar and capital letters*
They dont compliment each other so well if you know what image these styles arte trying to create. The idea behind the dances and the music theyre danced to is different. Only if you use a watered-down version of the elements of these styles, it may appeal that these styles are complimenting each other. Don see criticism as a negative thing, but moreso as a guideline to improve what youre doing or at least an insight to another perspective.
could the complainers please put some own correct videos here please? or at least tell what she does that is so terrible wrong?

ebiokpo 2 years ago
there are no counts, its a freestyle, you go any speed you want as long as your dancing to the music.... you must be a studio dancer.
