I remember the 60's when we had gas wars. I paid a little as 4 cents a gallon. With a gas guzzler car. A 1961 Ford Galaxy Starliner 406 interceptor engine. I could go for miles for $1.00. If I had that car now I'd keep it parked except for Friday nights at Bob's Big Boy in Taluca Lake Burbank, Ca. FM and Stereo were as yet dreams. So where cassets. driving around with my Girl was nice as she loved me and my fast car. I never lost a race.

Riding around in the 70's on 50 cent a gallon gas. A little sweetie beside me listening to A M radio and 8 tracks. Only two small speakers but they were cranked to the max. A great station in 73, 74, and 75 was Spiderman on WO WO in Fort Wayne Indiana. I am so glad I have all these great memories. What a great time to be a teen.
