Everyone's acting very unconcerned, and in fact nothing major occurs, but the entire rail system did have to shut down after this quake, which stranded huge numbers of people while it wasn't functioning.
It makes me sad to see so many irrelevant comments on a video like this. A video showing a terrible disaster as it happens, one that thousands of people lost their lives as a result of, but no one really seems to care. Come on, really?
@superrevivalcom Most of those who were worried about the earthquake had fled the station about a minute earlier after an announcement! The quake started when everyone was on board the train waiting for it to leave. The stationary train began rocking back and forth, but it wasn't obvious inside the carriage that this was due to a quake. Only after exiting the train did I realize there was a quake due to the platform itself vibrating & swaying. By the time I filmed this it was nearly over.
@MytashProductions because they have flu I think, we do the same here in Mexico, and I have seen it in Spain too I though it was common to wear that mask when you have flu, were are you from?
@MytashProductions It is not because they have the flu. I lived in Japan for most of my life and everyone does it just to keep from spreading germs and to be curtious to others.
The Los Angeles Red Line subway survived the 1994 Northridge earthquake with no structural damage and resumed service by afternoon the same day. The Blue Line resumed service even sooner.

I construsted correctly, it can be safe in a earthquake. San Francisco's BART survived an earthquake with nobody killed or damage to the system.
