I got to drive one of these today! I have a bud thats in the fbi and he let me take it for a spin. The one i drove had a camera on the end of the arm and a grabber on the joint

I remember having a toy remote control car similar to this in the late 90s. Admittedly it was plastic and not as strong and it's range probably wasn't as good. Still, I'm sure that with a bit of development and 45 grand per unit, something like this would've been quite feasible back then.

@jb12321 It's not just a "tough remote control car". It has modular gripper attachments for various purposes, software for UI and transmitting video/sensor data, sensor payloads, rugged operator contol suitcase, among other things prolly. And yes...it's also waterproof and strong, etc.
