In a day where the Bible is being fulfilled at a rapid pace this is just what I (and Christiandom should be) was looking for. God bless them all.
we need to put on the full armor of the Lord, especially in these times we enter with technology and increased resistence toward our Lord. things pop up left and right against us, and we all know the many ways this can happen.
never cease daily prayer and crying out to our Lord and Savior. ever. amen.
Historical records including the Bible and works outside of the Bible including Josephus, Tacitus, and Pliny the Younger among others. Also, the testament of our condition is evidenced throughout Scripture and displayed in this secular dispensation.
"(the major of which is believed to be a forgery)" by liberal scholars; not by all. The majority of professing atheists believe they are believed to be forgery, too, so do we believe that because a source says so? No. So why advocate a type of argument against the Scriptures that discredits your own position if you wish to remain consistent?
"Please describe how "our condition is evidenced throughout Scripture...""
Sin. You've sinned. Do you admit that you've broken the law?
On your profile you say, "I was a christian for 30 years..." How do we know this is true? Are we supposed to accept it merely because you say it's true and probably a few outside sources would agree?
,,.See what I mean? We must examine the claims to see if they are true. The Bible claims that all men are under sin apart from Christ. It gives tests to see if someone is/was in the faith. Are we supposed to believe that you were a Christian is true because you say so? I don't believe it.
Well, there we go. If you can't understand the inconsistencies and double standards in your own argumentation, continuing further this discussion would be fruitless.
"You don't, but I won't ask you to change your life based on the fact I believe I was a christian."
Please. You're arguing for unbelief. It takes someone 35 sec to read your profile to understand that is so. I have no desire to continue in dishonest discussion so I will not; neither will you.
PS. Go ahead and declare how we "fundamentalists stifle conversation" and give some pejorative remarks accordingly. It's typical of you fundamentalist, hypocritical unbelievers, and it wouldn't be the first time you all have done so. Regardless of the assertions each of you have about being so individualistic, you all act rather more like a conglomerate than you really give yourselves credit for.
I'm not sure how I would do this or if such a thing is even possible."
Well, that must mean that you didn't do it then because all argumentation I have is based on whether or not you know you do something you do or not. Whether or not you do it or if something is true is completely irrelevant if you don't agree. :)
There is no way I could fit all that's wrong here into five hundred characters so I'll just go with the assumption he made @4:40 about the most common objection being "That's your opinion." What I find most common is people respond with "The burden of proof is on you." That is just paraphrasing there but you get the meaning. The usual response is "no, the burden is on you to prove it not true." And in my opinion the burden of proof is on believers, as it is for anyone making claims of anything.
Thanks Lane. I don't like to post too much on one video, feels like an imposition unless a good conversation is going. Also I appreciate that you let opposing views in your comment section unlike some others, *cough**VFX*cough*.
Well one reason I said that was because usually those that claim that they just don't have enough room to "pick out the multiple errors in a video" really do have enough room. Instead, they just don't have the argument that would require that much room and the "space argument" is used merely as a cop-out. I hope this isn't the case with you.
Some think that this descent of the Lord will be post-millennial â€" that is, after the thousand years of his reign. I cannot think so. I conceive that the advent will be PRE-millennial â€" that he will come first; and then will come the millennium as the result of his personal reign upon earth. But whether or no, this much is the fact, that Christ will suddenly come, come to reign, and come to judge the earth in righteousness."
"If I read the word aright, and it is honest to admit that there is much room for difference of opinion here, the day will come, when the Lord Jesus will descend from heaven with a shout, with the trump of the archangel and the voice of God.
when people say with confidence there is no absolute truth, ask them if their absolutely sure.. if they reply, Yes they are sure.. remind them that claiming no absolute truth is a statement of absolute truth and contradicts their own logic.. if they don't understand at that point just walk away, there is no point talking truth to a crazy person..
"...there is no point talking truth to a crazy person."
I was just using this argumentation with someone a few nights ago. Your last statement made me laugh a little, but is also sad considering the truth of it.
do you screen all comments or do you allow certain people to automatically post? I don't make a habit of leaving nasty comments and always try to stay on subject..
I usually moderate them to cut down on the garbage that's posted on them. Many people aren't aware of some of the filth that isn't posted that I do read daily. Friends can post automatically. I see that you sent a friend request. I normally don't allow friend requests from people that I don't already know, but I remember reading several of your comments already and have agreed with a lot of what you've said. I'll accept it now so you can comment freely. Take care.
I think it all traces back to Genesis 3 brother: "Hath God not said"? Satan never changes his methodologies much. It isn't hard to discern who the source of all this relativism and postmodernist nonsense really is.
I also think it's a product of the hedonism that permeates our culture. Amen for the video brother.
I doubt KasparHauser4 knows even where Jesus was born. Its a sad fact that atheists have never read the Gospel or understood it. They are willingly ignorant like the bible says. Not once have I met an atheist who understood the doctrine and scripture well enough as a true christian and reject it. Pure ignorance.
Again, as I said, I won't allow anymore of your comments. I say this in public so no one can accuse me of trying to hide the fact that I'm not. I wanted to share this with you, though, just the same. There is hope in Christ. There is no hope in ourselves. You're in my prayers.
I don't say this in a condescending, egotistical, or arrogant way, but I say this as truth in love because you must understand that those who love you the most will tell you the most truth: You are a very dense and ignorant man. Anyone reading your comments who is honest will agree. You must repent of your sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Since you don't even know what Christians believe, you have no position to refute them. That's one of the most ignorant things a person can do.
I'm not going to block you from commenting, but I am not going to allow any of your comments through, either. If, at some point, God deals with your sin and you need someone to explain to you exactly what the Gospel is, you will still be able to use my message box, but I will not allow anymore of your comments through. I know this does not mean much to you now, but I've prayed to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob for your soul and will continue to.
I do want to finish up the last thought, though, so you will at least be clear on where the Bible stands:
The Bible teaches that sin is the transgression of the law (do not steal, do not commit adultery, do not murder, etc.) It also teaches that love is the fulfillment of the law. If someone were to steal something from you, would they be loving you? No. They would transgressing the law of "do not steal."
The same would hold true if someone came tonight and murdered you in your sleep. Would that person be loving you? No. They would be transgressing the law of "do not kill". The Bible teaches that everyone has sinned save one, Jesus Christ. We have all transgressed God's law and we need forgiveness to have everlasting life. I sure have transgressed it. There is no hope for me other than Jesus Christ.
We all have sinned; including you. This is why sinners need a savior. This is why believers in Christ are justified by God. This is why you need to turn away from your transgressions and trust in Christ who was raised from the dead nearly 2000 years ago. It's a historical fact. It's the only way for anyone to be saved.
If you do believe, Christ will give you the ability to not only hate the evil you do, but also the ability to overcome doing it. No one is above their need for salvation: you, me... no one. I wanted to share this with you so at least you will know why I believe in Christ and why there is no other name under heaven by which you, me, or anyone in history can be saved.
Notice I didn't ask you your opinion on it. I asked you directly if you know what the Bible defines it as. If you have, as you've said, investigated the claims of the Bible, certainly you must know what you've denied.
Again, you've only given your opinion of what sin is, not what the Bible actually says it is. You claim that you have studied the Bible and have come to the conclusion that it is ignorant for ignorant people, but, if you haven't studied it, how does it make any sense to deny something you are ignorant of? That's irrational.
One of the ways one comes to truth is by humility. It is a virtue, not a vice. I do not say that in spite. If you haven't investigated the claims of it fully, I can share with you what it says.
As far as your last question, I'm assuming that you're referring to the "not believe in any god" question. I do not see if where you asked another. I answered it a while ago.
Ok I did miss one of your responses. Again as you have been doing all night long instead of answering the question you have side stepped it. Now you quote me as saying:" Bible and have come to the conclusion that it is ignorant for ignorant people" Can you show me where I ever said such a thing? You cannot can you? Your erecting a "strawman" now aren't you? Then in classical manner after having erected the strawman and saying it is I you attack it. You are an "artful dodger" aren't you?
Wait, wait, wait. I have not been sidestepping any question. You have. If you go back to the beginning of the questions and read them straight through, you will realize that I have been answering and you have been sidestepping if you're honest about it.
As far as misquoting you, if you look at that again, did I use quotation marks or did I make a generalization of your opinion? That is what you believe, is it not?
Kaspar, I scrolled back and the only thing I find that you have addressed is in this quote, " "Sin" is a superstitous idea of many relgions including christianity and judaism. It means to offend a mythical deity." Is that what you are referring to? (Keep in mind that the question is not, "What do you regard sin is?" The question I posed is "What does the Bible declare sin to be?" (ie. a biblical definition)
Sorry you do not like my answer to your question. I have given it and stand by it. Now I can sense your acheing to say something dramatic here so why don't you give me your definition then. (heck I'll be your straight man)
Well, you must understand that the reason I don't like it is because it is not the biblical definition. The Bible defines sin as the transgression of God's law. (Do not kill, do not commit adultery, do not steal, etc.) First of all, do you agree that the bible teaches (note I didn't say "do you agree with") that to murder is a sin (or a transgression of the law: "Do not kill")?
I'm not going to address anymore of your comments because if you come back to sanity, you will see how ludicrous they are. I will explain to you what sin is, what the Gospel teaches, and what I truly do believe if you're interested in that. If you want to persist in ignorance thinking that you've actually done something by speaking out against all those who care about Jesus when you, yourself are actually ignorant of what we believe, then that is your prerogative.
1. (I took that as rhetorical sarcasm hence, I didn't see that as a question that needed reply.) Telling you your state is certainly something the Bible gives to all. When I didn't believe, the statements I made to you earlier pertained as much to me then as they do to you now.
Good, grief. I'm not going to sit here and debate this with you all night if you aren't even going to be honest with the issues. I'll repeat it for you, though since you are not able to go back and look through the comments:
"I already don't believe in "any sort of god." I believe in the one true God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob."
I think that jesus was a great reformer of judaism (allthough the jews I have discussed this with have arguments opposed to this view. They cite rabbi Hillel as saying everything that jesus was purported as saying at least 100 years before jesus). I believe his examples of how to fullfill the moral laws of the jews by raising the standard of one's bhavior was simple, profound and brilliant.
Well, that's your opinion about Christ, but I asked you about sin specifically. What is your take on what it says about sin specifically. Can you define what the Bible says it is?
Up to now you have asked all the questions and I have allowed you to do so. Now answer me one question. What would it take for you to disbelieve in any sort of god?
LOL I see you could not take having my comments on your video. I don't much care if this comment doesn't goes through or not as long as you read it. By your taking down my comments you have admitted to yourself that there is no god
Ah, I see you're acting according to false presuppositions here, as well. That's dangerous. It will actually cause you to think you've disproven the truth when you've actually disproven your own presupposition of the truth which was a lie to begin with. Take atheism for example.
I was actually out for a while, but I'm back now. As you can see, both of your comments went through.
Ok that is a sane question (the only one you have put forth so far). Sure I have read the bible and I continue to read it in parts. I also made a video about my opinions of the bible. In short because of its historicity and impact on this world I would like everybody to read the bible and it should be taught as a great book in the schools.
For the same reason why you don't believe in Zeus, Also I don't really think you believe in Jesus either. One day perhaps you will go to the side of reason and rationality and quit defending darkness and superstitions.
Does Zeus say that I'm a filthy sinner who loves my sin and my selfishness instead of loving my neighbor as myself or is that Christ? The reason I don't believe in Zeus is because he is fictitious. The reason you don't believe in Christ is because you don't want to face the reality that you are a miserable sinner going to burn in hell eternally if you don't repent and believe in the Son of God who shed his blood for everyone who believes.
Well thank you for telling me what I think. Is mind reading one of the "gifts"? If you need to have somebody tell you you'r a filthy sinner perhaps you can find a 1+900 telephone sex operator to do that for you. It might be cheaper. can you prove Zeus does not exist and is fictional? I think you don't want to worship Zeus cause then you won't get your masochistic kicks from Zeus that you get from Jesus.
I'm sorry. sexualtiy is as common as rain here on the planet Earth. Damn even the birds and the bees do it. So what your beggining is no test. I do not agree to your silly test. Let me ask you a question. The night you were concieved in your mother's womb. At that very moment was your father thinking about what a great christian your mother was?
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free,John 8:32.Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me,John 14:6.

Jesus has told us how to know the truth. If you follow His instructions then you will know the truth....
Joh 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free
. "If you continue in my words...you shall know the truth"
Try it...or cease from saying that there is no God and no knowable Truth.

we need to put on the full armor of the Lord, especially in these times we enter with technology and increased resistence toward our Lord. things pop up left and right against us, and we all know the many ways this can happen.
never cease daily prayer and crying out to our Lord and Savior. ever. amen.

You state that the bible contains the truth. How do you know this?
crazypills2 3 years ago
Historical records including the Bible and works outside of the Bible including Josephus, Tacitus, and Pliny the Younger among others. Also, the testament of our condition is evidenced throughout Scripture and displayed in this secular dispensation.
LaneCh 3 years ago
Does a book that says it's true, and nominally supported by a few outside sources (the major of which is believed to be a forgery) mean it's true?
Please describe how "our condition is evidenced throughout Scripture..."
Thanks.
crazypills2 3 years ago
"(the major of which is believed to be a forgery)" by liberal scholars; not by all. The majority of professing atheists believe they are believed to be forgery, too, so do we believe that because a source says so? No. So why advocate a type of argument against the Scriptures that discredits your own position if you wish to remain consistent?
"Please describe how "our condition is evidenced throughout Scripture...""
Sin. You've sinned. Do you admit that you've broken the law?
LaneCh 3 years ago
On your profile you say, "I was a christian for 30 years..." How do we know this is true? Are we supposed to accept it merely because you say it's true and probably a few outside sources would agree?
,,.See what I mean? We must examine the claims to see if they are true. The Bible claims that all men are under sin apart from Christ. It gives tests to see if someone is/was in the faith. Are we supposed to believe that you were a Christian is true because you say so? I don't believe it.
LaneCh 3 years ago
"How do we know this is true?"
You don't, but I won't ask you to change your life based on the fact I believe I was a christian.
"Are we supposed to believe that you were a christian is true because you say so?"
No, and my guess is you never would. Why? Because of your interpretation of a confusing book.
If the bible were true, wouldn't you expect less confusion and fighting among christians?
crazypills2 3 years ago

"...by liberal scholars; not by all."
Agreed, but the evidence is compelling to me.
"So why advocate a type of argument against the Scriptures that discredits your own position if you wish to remain consistent?"
I'm not sure how I would do this or if such a thing is even possible.
"Do you admit that you've broken the law?"
Yes, but I've broken laws of other religious texts as well, many of which have similar ideas as the bible. Does this mean they are true?
crazypills2 3 years ago
"Agreed, but the evidence is compelling to me...
I'm not sure how I would do this or if such a thing is even possible."
Well, that must mean that you didn't do it then because all argumentation I have is based on whether or not you know you do something you do or not. Whether or not you do it or if something is true is completely irrelevant if you don't agree. :)
LaneCh 3 years ago
"Yes, but I've broken laws of other religious texts as well, many of which have similar ideas as the bible. Does this mean they are true?"
Name the laws of other religious texts that you've broken with primary source material and correct notation.

Also I appreciate that you let opposing views in your comment section unlike some others, *cough**VFX*cough*.
shaybshay 3 years ago
Well one reason I said that was because usually those that claim that they just don't have enough room to "pick out the multiple errors in a video" really do have enough room. Instead, they just don't have the argument that would require that much room and the "space argument" is used merely as a cop-out. I hope this isn't the case with you.

Some think that this descent of the Lord will be post-millennial â€" that is, after the thousand years of his reign. I cannot think so. I conceive that the advent will be PRE-millennial â€" that he will come first; and then will come the millennium as the result of his personal reign upon earth. But whether or no, this much is the fact, that Christ will suddenly come, come to reign, and come to judge the earth in righteousness."

when people say with confidence there is no absolute truth, ask them if their absolutely sure.. if they reply, Yes they are sure.. remind them that claiming no absolute truth is a statement of absolute truth and contradicts their own logic.. if they don't understand at that point just walk away, there is no point talking truth to a crazy person..

I was just using this argumentation with someone a few nights ago. Your last statement made me laugh a little, but is also sad considering the truth of it.
LaneCh 3 years ago
do you screen all comments or do you allow certain people to automatically post? I don't make a habit of leaving nasty comments and always try to stay on subject..
muzalot 3 years ago

SalvationEternity777 4 years ago
Again, as I said, I won't allow anymore of your comments. I say this in public so no one can accuse me of trying to hide the fact that I'm not. I wanted to share this with you, though, just the same. There is hope in Christ. There is no hope in ourselves. You're in my prayers.

KasparHauser4 4 years ago
Ok run away. It's ok I understand
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
Aside from your drama. You have no case do you?
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
I don't say this in a condescending, egotistical, or arrogant way, but I say this as truth in love because you must understand that those who love you the most will tell you the most truth: You are a very dense and ignorant man. Anyone reading your comments who is honest will agree. You must repent of your sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Since you don't even know what Christians believe, you have no position to refute them. That's one of the most ignorant things a person can do.
LaneCh 4 years ago
I'm not going to block you from commenting, but I am not going to allow any of your comments through, either. If, at some point, God deals with your sin and you need someone to explain to you exactly what the Gospel is, you will still be able to use my message box, but I will not allow anymore of your comments through. I know this does not mean much to you now, but I've prayed to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob for your soul and will continue to.
LaneCh 4 years ago
I do want to finish up the last thought, though, so you will at least be clear on where the Bible stands:
The Bible teaches that sin is the transgression of the law (do not steal, do not commit adultery, do not murder, etc.) It also teaches that love is the fulfillment of the law. If someone were to steal something from you, would they be loving you? No. They would transgressing the law of "do not steal."
LaneCh 4 years ago
The same would hold true if someone came tonight and murdered you in your sleep. Would that person be loving you? No. They would be transgressing the law of "do not kill". The Bible teaches that everyone has sinned save one, Jesus Christ. We have all transgressed God's law and we need forgiveness to have everlasting life. I sure have transgressed it. There is no hope for me other than Jesus Christ.
LaneCh 4 years ago
We all have sinned; including you. This is why sinners need a savior. This is why believers in Christ are justified by God. This is why you need to turn away from your transgressions and trust in Christ who was raised from the dead nearly 2000 years ago. It's a historical fact. It's the only way for anyone to be saved.
LaneCh 4 years ago
If you do believe, Christ will give you the ability to not only hate the evil you do, but also the ability to overcome doing it. No one is above their need for salvation: you, me... no one. I wanted to share this with you so at least you will know why I believe in Christ and why there is no other name under heaven by which you, me, or anyone in history can be saved.
LaneCh 4 years ago
"Sin" is a superstitous idea of many relgions including christianity and judaism. It means to offend a mythical deity.
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
Notice I didn't ask you your opinion on it. I asked you directly if you know what the Bible defines it as. If you have, as you've said, investigated the claims of the Bible, certainly you must know what you've denied.
LaneCh 4 years ago
I noticed you haven't answered my last question. As for the answer to yours,I have already given it.
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
Again, you've only given your opinion of what sin is, not what the Bible actually says it is. You claim that you have studied the Bible and have come to the conclusion that it is ignorant for ignorant people, but, if you haven't studied it, how does it make any sense to deny something you are ignorant of? That's irrational.
LaneCh 4 years ago
One of the ways one comes to truth is by humility. It is a virtue, not a vice. I do not say that in spite. If you haven't investigated the claims of it fully, I can share with you what it says.
As far as your last question, I'm assuming that you're referring to the "not believe in any god" question. I do not see if where you asked another. I answered it a while ago.
LaneCh 4 years ago
Ok I did miss one of your responses. Again as you have been doing all night long instead of answering the question you have side stepped it. Now you quote me as saying:" Bible and have come to the conclusion that it is ignorant for ignorant people" Can you show me where I ever said such a thing? You cannot can you? Your erecting a "strawman" now aren't you? Then in classical manner after having erected the strawman and saying it is I you attack it. You are an "artful dodger" aren't you?
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
Wait, wait, wait. I have not been sidestepping any question. You have. If you go back to the beginning of the questions and read them straight through, you will realize that I have been answering and you have been sidestepping if you're honest about it.
As far as misquoting you, if you look at that again, did I use quotation marks or did I make a generalization of your opinion? That is what you believe, is it not?
LaneCh 4 years ago
Aside from that, I see you still haven't answered the question directly:
Do you know the Biblical definition of sin?
LaneCh 4 years ago
I have already give you the biblical definition of sin scroll back and read it.
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
Kaspar, I scrolled back and the only thing I find that you have addressed is in this quote, " "Sin" is a superstitous idea of many relgions including christianity and judaism. It means to offend a mythical deity." Is that what you are referring to? (Keep in mind that the question is not, "What do you regard sin is?" The question I posed is "What does the Bible declare sin to be?" (ie. a biblical definition)
LaneCh 4 years ago
Sorry you do not like my answer to your question. I have given it and stand by it. Now I can sense your acheing to say something dramatic here so why don't you give me your definition then. (heck I'll be your straight man)
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
Well, you must understand that the reason I don't like it is because it is not the biblical definition. The Bible defines sin as the transgression of God's law. (Do not kill, do not commit adultery, do not steal, etc.) First of all, do you agree that the bible teaches (note I didn't say "do you agree with") that to murder is a sin (or a transgression of the law: "Do not kill")?
LaneCh 4 years ago
I'm not going to address anymore of your comments because if you come back to sanity, you will see how ludicrous they are. I will explain to you what sin is, what the Gospel teaches, and what I truly do believe if you're interested in that. If you want to persist in ignorance thinking that you've actually done something by speaking out against all those who care about Jesus when you, yourself are actually ignorant of what we believe, then that is your prerogative.
LaneCh 4 years ago
Here are the 4 questions I asked and you either ignored or completly side stepped.
1.Well thank you for telling me what I think. Is mind reading one of the "gifts"?
2 The night you were concieved in your mother's womb. At that very moment was your father thinking about what a great christian your mother was?
3 What would it take for you to disbelieve in any sort of god?
4.Can you show me where I ever said such a thing?
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
1. (I took that as rhetorical sarcasm hence, I didn't see that as a question that needed reply.) Telling you your state is certainly something the Bible gives to all. When I didn't believe, the statements I made to you earlier pertained as much to me then as they do to you now.
LaneCh 4 years ago
2. (Again, this is actually an ad hominem argument. There is no reason to address this.)
LaneCh 4 years ago
3. I answered that already. Check previous comments.
LaneCh 4 years ago
No you did NOT answer the question you ignored it by some sort of smoke screen.
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
Good, grief. I'm not going to sit here and debate this with you all night if you aren't even going to be honest with the issues. I'll repeat it for you, though since you are not able to go back and look through the comments:
"I already don't believe in "any sort of god." I believe in the one true God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob."
LaneCh 4 years ago
Ok question number 2 which was not an ad hominem attack but actually fitted in with your question about lust. Again you refuse to answer
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
I do refuse to answer it because it is not a question that leads to any rationality nor is it appropriate.
LaneCh 4 years ago
ok you still have not answered question number 1. Now have you? (geez are you part mule?)
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
4. I addressed this one already, as well. See previous comments.
Are you going to answer the question regarding the Biblical definition of sin? If not, this conversation is pointless and will not continue.
LaneCh 4 years ago
Again you have not answered the question. your now d4enying that you ever made that assertion.
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
I think that jesus was a great reformer of judaism (allthough the jews I have discussed this with have arguments opposed to this view. They cite rabbi Hillel as saying everything that jesus was purported as saying at least 100 years before jesus). I believe his examples of how to fullfill the moral laws of the jews by raising the standard of one's bhavior was simple, profound and brilliant.
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
Well, that's your opinion about Christ, but I asked you about sin specifically. What is your take on what it says about sin specifically. Can you define what the Bible says it is?
LaneCh 4 years ago
Up to now you have asked all the questions and I have allowed you to do so. Now answer me one question. What would it take for you to disbelieve in any sort of god?
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
I already don't believe in "any sort of god." I believe in the one true God. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
LaneCh 4 years ago
LOL I see you could not take having my comments on your video. I don't much care if this comment doesn't goes through or not as long as you read it. By your taking down my comments you have admitted to yourself that there is no god
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
Ah, I see you're acting according to false presuppositions here, as well. That's dangerous. It will actually cause you to think you've disproven the truth when you've actually disproven your own presupposition of the truth which was a lie to begin with. Take atheism for example.
I was actually out for a while, but I'm back now. As you can see, both of your comments went through.
LaneCh 4 years ago
Let me ask you this: Is it safe to assume that you've investigated the claims made by the Bible since you so ardently deny them?
LaneCh 4 years ago
Ok that is a sane question (the only one you have put forth so far). Sure I have read the bible and I continue to read it in parts. I also made a video about my opinions of the bible. In short because of its historicity and impact on this world I would like everybody to read the bible and it should be taught as a great book in the schools.
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
"Ok that is a sane question (the only one you have put forth so far)."
Well, that's your opinion. (No pun.)
What's your take on what it teaches about sin?
LaneCh 4 years ago
That's your opinion
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
Do you know why you don't believe in Jesus Christ?
LaneCh 4 years ago
For the same reason why you don't believe in Zeus, Also I don't really think you believe in Jesus either. One day perhaps you will go to the side of reason and rationality and quit defending darkness and superstitions.
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
Does Zeus say that I'm a filthy sinner who loves my sin and my selfishness instead of loving my neighbor as myself or is that Christ? The reason I don't believe in Zeus is because he is fictitious. The reason you don't believe in Christ is because you don't want to face the reality that you are a miserable sinner going to burn in hell eternally if you don't repent and believe in the Son of God who shed his blood for everyone who believes.
LaneCh 4 years ago
Well thank you for telling me what I think. Is mind reading one of the "gifts"? If you need to have somebody tell you you'r a filthy sinner perhaps you can find a 1+900 telephone sex operator to do that for you. It might be cheaper. can you prove Zeus does not exist and is fictional? I think you don't want to worship Zeus cause then you won't get your masochistic kicks from Zeus that you get from Jesus.
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
If what I said is not true, let's test it:
Have you ever looked at someone to lust after them?
LaneCh 4 years ago
I'm sorry. sexualtiy is as common as rain here on the planet Earth. Damn even the birds and the bees do it. So what your beggining is no test. I do not agree to your silly test. Let me ask you a question. The night you were concieved in your mother's womb. At that very moment was your father thinking about what a great christian your mother was?
KasparHauser4 4 years ago
"The reason you don't believe in Christ is because you don't want to face the reality that you are a miserable sinner"
