Hey Lee, this album really influenced my musical live from the very beginning, I had access to Armed and Dangerous, here in Brasil, in the 80's and I love the arrangements and guitar solos and everything! I hope all of you guys are OK! GBU
Good grief!! That is a killer bass groove you have going there! Looks like you are concentrating quite a bit too. Did that song ever get to be second nature to play? I think I might break out into a cold sweat before that song came up. lol
I have known about this group for years, but I alwys gravitated to Keith Green when it came to early CCM artists...still a big KG fan. This group is up on my list. Matthew Ward has definitely had some soulful influences. The man can sing.Together they sound beautiful.
Did 2nd Chapter of Acts play as a group that day or was this all Matthew Ward? I don't use this word often and I vowed to use this only when it came to refering to God but I guess it is appropriate... This is AWESOME! Thanks for sharing this, Lee.

My hat is off to you for having the chance to play with Matthew Ward, 2nd Chapter of Acts, and Phil Keaggy! I love every peice of music Phil has created and have had the wonderful opportunity to see him in concert 3 times, once in Oregon in 2003 and now twice in Pennsylvania this year (2010), in Pittsburgh and then again with Glass Harp in Franklin, PA. All of you are so very accomplished musicians and it's great to hear GOOD Christian music! Thank you!
Thanks! I used to play "Mr. Briefcase" by Lee Ritenour for soundcheck sometimes with 2nd Chapter Of Acts, and Matthew wanted a similar thing on this song. The pick was for precision and attack, I would have slapped this otherwise..I did slap the intro which was in very odd meter as I recall. I appreciate your comments!
Hey, thank you Moffatwv.....I noticed when I visited your YouTube site that you like Phil Keaggy too. The guitarist in this video and I played with Phil for several years before we played with Matthew and 2nd Chapter Of Acts. Phil lives nearby and we get together socially and play together from time to time. I did a tour with him a couple of years ago and have done some recording over at his studio. A wonderful musician, dear friend and a man of integrity. Thanks, my best to you.
@Llelandj That's so cool. I saw Phil in concert a few years ago in Pa. His music and that of 2d Chapter of Acts is so precious and meaningful, but without the supporting musicians it wouldn't be the same!
