He did not quit!

He left because he realised acting was not his thing and mainly because of his religion!

Also he has a girlfriend and as the great Cameron says; when something feels wrong it just feels wrong.

He realised that if his religion and his girlfriend were put to the side while he continued and acted like he was fine and continued; that was not for him, if acting meant kissing other girls, he couldn't not do it because it felt like cheating.
