One more thing, I've driven a ski set up for racing. At high speeds - well over 70, it is very difficult to stay on the ski. We actually had special pads glued into the foot wells, to lock you feet into the boat, so you could stay on it.
Note how when he nails it, it takes a full 2 seconds to get up on plane ~ 8mph! . If you want the boat to plane, you put your weight forward. A true performance boat also has a control to tilt the jet. Your boat is stock and you don't even know how to ride it

There are several problems with this guys story. First of all, there is no jet pump made that would come remotely close to handling the flow rate required for that kind of speed. The pump would cavetate long before you reach anything remotely close to that. Secondly, if you had theoretically enough power for that kind of speed, the boat would turn end for end, long before you reach that speed. At those speeds, there is not enough boat in the water to provide enough stability. Fast boats r long.
if you want that ski to hit 180mph you'll need to drop it out of a plane! no wave runner is capable of 180mph but you got a boat load of views for saying it does huh douche nozzle!

ok buddy, top speed for a jetski these days r like 85 mph, even tuned, no matter how many hp u got, ure making the jetki weigh more with the xtra cc. the lighter, the better. i got a 2001 kawasaki 1100 stx and tops at 61 mph, with no tune ups or anything.bone stock, and the new ones like the 300x which as 2x more hp and it only does 10 mph faster, shits not worth it these days

@201andrew i have radared 97.4 on three diff occasions with a gpr 1200 hull and an rxp 215 motor with a custom intercooler a c5 wheel and a motech stand alone and the riva computer upgrade on just a 14 19 pitch prop if i go to a 15 22 i lose .2 on the 0-60 and push over a 100 but you have to get the perfect day to keep it in the water it goes from from being a jet ski to just a JET lol

@iLikeBoatsThatGoFast yes i did, i dont exactly know, but the ski or whatever need to be longer to get that kind of speed, around 100mph (160kmh) is the fastest i have seen for a PWC. and i really dont belive it does 0-60 in 2.1 sec either. search for (on youtube) : RIB EXTREME RACING YAMAHA OPEN EXTREME 374 BHP - thats real *stats* and they want it to go 100 mph thats their goal and they count on 600hp
