I quit 5 days and 18 hours ago after smoking for 7 years from the ages of 14 to 21. Now I am trying my new life of looking better from exercising,finishing my education, getting a good job, getting married and having kids, and looking/feeling healthy for as long as i live. Enjoy life that way until i die!! :)
ive just shown my dad this vid and he loves me very much but he says its too hard to give up and patches gum and inhalers dont work and he hasnt even used one and i dont want him to die.he already has a bad back and diabetes and i cant stand to lose him. his smoking hasn't really affected his health but i want him to stop before the ciggies do decide to strike so could someone please post me a comment towards my dad i would appreciate it.

But if he can't do that then at least as he's quitting , tell him to talk to himself and say "I don't want cancer!!!" And if he sees someone that is smoking, tell him to say to himself "Damn that person is gonna get cancer" LOL i knw it sounds funny, but that's wht i do and it working!!!

I'm on my 6th day, smoked for 9 years 20 - 30 a day. woke up one day had two cigs in the morning and stopped without planning and had no patches or anything just willpower, its been extremely hard for 4 days.. day 3 was toughest!,
but now I only think about them every so often not every 10 mins lol, its going well and your vid was just what i was looking for to keep me motivated, cheers mate XD

mosiefool- Breathing in air while driving in traffic is almost 75% worse for your lungs then second hand smoke. let alone smoking itself. Actually scientific studys show natural tabbaco smoke only has a 1 in 200 chance to cause cancer. that's less then the amount of people who get cancer from drinking tap water...
mosiefool- What is really giving every one lung cancer is poluted air and (certain brands) of cigs like Marlbaro and newports wich are laoded with added chemicals to the tabbaco. And stop saying "amen aman" because it means nothing.

Very nicely done video!! I am creating a quit smoking website and would be pleased to link to your video. I too, am an ex - smoker. It was very hard to quit smoking, but to anyone I will say it is far better to suffer from withdrawals symptoms that will pass rather than have your life crippled or killed from cigarettes. Nicotine addiction is no joke and sooner or later your number will come up.
