I had the pleasure of visiting CJ's studio this week...pictures and videos do no justice to her work. The colors, depth, subjects and skill can only be appreciated up close. There are details in her work that you will leave you awestruck. She is a fascinating artist and a very interesting woman to speak with. If you get the chance, visit the studio in TN. I did and couldn't drag myself out of there. Kudos to Topper on the craftsmanship of his framework. Awesome.
Back in the 80s, I found a book of artist's tricks and it taught how to draw a water droplet. I was drawing them all over the place in pencil. I've never actually painted one. Thanks for the inspiration. Your work is beautiful!

I always wondered how it was done. Thanks for the tutorial.
Even viewing from a computer screen while being thousands of miles away from where you are - your finished droplets look absolutely 100% realistic.
