@enigmafirst All you need is a PulseVU chips, some LED's, resistors and wire. There forums were a lot of help as well. I do know there are simpler methods such as running a cold cathode through a similar device but I prefer building things myself.

Thanks, I can agree with the song. New stuff is pretty good but I think she's aimed at an older crowd now. My Fiance recommended the song for its punchy bass intro to really show off the lights.
Actually this was basically my first real go at soldering and wiring. I'm redesigning an easier plug and use chip to use in future cases. If anyone is interested in buying prefab setups let me know.
