  • this guy has a wife!!!

  • I'm Joost

  • If Chris got a channel on Joost that would be revelutionary like tons of more fans.

  • well i might b a little late and all but i thin that joost is great... but i dont have windows... im a linux loyalist... soo too linux users if you dont want to go thru the trouble of configuring wine... there is alwayz the alternative.... miro!!!

  • Nerds

  • lolz!

  • Without nerds there would be no such thing as a computer, or electricity.

Without nerds people like you would still be cavemen.

  • I wouldn't call them nerds. Nerds are people that are extremely intelligent and can succeed in any area of studies. I would call them geeks, because geeks are passionate about a specific array of studies. I'm not putting them down at all. They seem like cool people.

  • Veoh is a much better application. I can watch full episodes from NBC, CBS, etc. straight from the application, and It has a resizing option so that it doesn't take up my entire desktop. Also, you don't have to download any video to be able to watch it; the service streams it to you. If you search the Veoh website, you can even find full episodes and full movies that you can download with the application. It's much better than watching only commercials and short clips with Joost or Miro.

  • Hey redpapers thanks for mentioning Veoh, I was using Miro and Joost but I've since got Veoh and I love it! Watched 24, Mad TV and Burn Notice last night, it really makes me not need a TV anymore (or at least an expensive cable/sattelite service).

  • i love joost, i see a lot of potential in it too

  • its runing ok on vista for me so far... only by runing as an admin tho! but were the hell is all these tv shows they promised? all im gettin is 2min clips and music videos waheey fun? er :| youtube is actually better to be brutally honest well until they sort joost out with some programs like good ones that people actually heard and know of and WANT to watch.
  • It's on demand for me.

  • just dropping by .... checking out joost as you are discussing it .....

  • joost runs so much better on mac OS X, it looks great and works great with the apple remote, just like front row!

  • Joost is basically a group of media companies paying a small company to broadcast their shows over the web. No user content whatsoever, No user community, No interaction.

    YouTube > Everything > Joost

  • Juice'ed

  • haha, you lol'd

  • yah i use Joost

  • Now that's it's out of beta, It runs smooth on my Macbook Pro. Not a hiccup so far and it's surprisingly faster. The only downside is the lack of recent content. There are a lot more channels than before but most of it is just a few shows.

  • kool

  • ok i get it funney...lol

  • Oh god I cant believe that actualy made it on youtube. *slaps forehead.*

  • I've used Joost on both Windows and Mac OS X and it just performs so much more fluently on Mac OS X. Under Windows I simply couldn't bare it.

  • i never knew that about kazaa. your learn something every day.

the one ting they have never improved so online voice channel. no matter what you used, its still crap, lol

  • lol awesome
