aayyy naku namimiss ko lang noong elementary ako, parati ko to naririnig sa radyo....how i wish i have a time machine.i wanna go back year of 80's best talaga ang mga taong ito pati mga songs noong nakakamisssssssssssss......ngayong mga years walang kuwaenta mga tugtug...
@mlhancock2 i respect u for doing a good job, as a parent it is very important of teaching their kids have it half or full filipino to b aware on their filipino side...
@tompom44 Well, if you can already speak 6 other languages I would say you probably will learn it in due course. I had a German friend who spent some time in the Philippines probably for about a year or so and he became so fluent that he was able to travel extensively throughout the archipelago all by himself since he could easily converse with the locals. The Tagalog alphabet is really not much different from the English alphabet and the language itself borrowed heavily from Spanish & Malay.
I could say Tagalog is the perfect language among others. Every word has a different meaning and you can express everything that you wanted to say. So learning the Filipino language can definitely benefit you a lot. ^_^
ang ganda ng kanta nato ni Florante. i remember my first alphabet book back in the 80s! now im teaching this song to my kids pra nman matutunan nila ang alphabetong Filipino
i remember my chilhood....dali dali me umuuwi galing School, elementary grade ko,,nakikinig ako sa transistor radio..kasi my program sa A.M radio na Abakada..heto yung background song..i like this songs so much......
this is my Childhood favorite songs..i remember when i was in elementary grade....dalli dali ako umuuwi galing scul para maabutan ung program sa radio na my theme songs na A BA KA DA...kakamiss that time....hayyyyyyy..
I do not know if Florante has been awarded by the the Phil. culture/language authorities for his contribution, not only to Phil music but to the Pilipino language and culture as well. Singing songs is an unconscious way to propagate the use of the language, and enjoy in the processs, like he did witwh his songs. Natuto akong managalog dahil sa kanya, atbp pang real OPM composers.
i learned Filipino alphabet through this song.sana may maging kagaya ni florante na batang Filipino composer sa ngayon.kasi talagang walang kwenta na ang mga songs sa ngayon.madalas puro pangsariling nararamdaman lang ang mga compositions wla man lang effect sa intellect ng mga tao.ang ibang songs naman puro na lang sigaw at ilang chords lang.
im in america and taking spanish classes. we learned the spanish alphabet which they sing by how it sounds just like abakada. i wondered why didnt we get to learn abakada instead of the abc in the schools in the philippines. i am grateful though my grandma taught me this! thanks for this vid i finally got the tune.
Salamat. Naging malaking tulong ito sa pag-memorize ng Alpabetong Pilipino ng aking mga anak. Dapat gamitin din ito ng mga teachers sa pagturo because it makes it more interesting for the kids. Thanks FLORANTE!

is tagalog a difficult language to learn for an Englishman who also speaks 6 other languages?
(Spanish, French, German, Italian, Swedish, Russian)
