This is so utterly relevant. If anyone in the US has turned on a TV in the last 13 years, they know what you're talking about. Anytime I see one of these drug ads, I listen to the listed side effects, and wonder why anyone in their right mind would take one of these knowing the side effects. My recent winner for "We'll make a buck anywhere we can" award is the new drug for growing thicker longer eyelashes. Anyway, great song, Neal, keep up the marvelous lyrical commentary on what ails the US.
Printing the tricky parts of your lyrics in the video was a great idea. Wish more videos would do that. Huge amounts of genius lyrics aren't fully appreciated because of some need for speed. I'd rather see and savor them. Less arcane, more communication the way you've done it.
And I LOVE the message. I watched a very good buddy get essentially "shot in the head" by bad psychiatric meds, so I know you speak sooth, bro!
The LAST person we should ask is a doctor.. I have asked at least 25 docs how much time they have spent on nutrition and they ALL have 1st laughed, 2bd said "one class one semester".. The better approach that we are all missing, especially in this time of health care debate, is NUTRITION.. I trust the govt and FDA less than docs for sure and the fact that there are drug commercials on TV is revolting and ridiculous. All that being said GREAT song and video on an important topic.
