you could tell he didnt have stress on the biceps the whole time because you could see them flex and unflex while his back took over the weight on the pull downs so why was this a bicep workout? should have been labeled back and biceps
need to know when to listen to your body when it says stop. you keep going when you're tired but when you feel that puke feeling coming on and the muscles just give out, time to rest. pain not necessary
@chase123p its called fatigue. Mind does plays a big role when training. I remember when my body use to say no and my brain was saying "PUSH IT PUSSY" then id push one more rep out of nowhere. Eventually you just do more of those cause you try challenge yourself.
@GorterPoss I could bench press 100kilos and weighed only 60 kilos. All these big guys in the gym would make so much noise in the gym and I was quiet. I use to walk into the changing room, strip off my t-shirt and all you these noisy big guys would go silent. Im amazed that after 10 years of no training my body still looks good. Ive got a bit of a gutt now but for no training my body has retained alot of its shape.
@chrispollock no doubt you need to rest between sets, but a strong mind will help you push past the limitations you set for yourself when thinking you are about to hit your max rep. But you missed my point. Which is if you have a weak mind, you have weak progress.

I agree that the form needs work but no way should he have done the curls first. You should always finish with an isolation exercise to fully exhaust the muscle you are targeting. The first exercise utilizes the lats so they could have reached failure first.
this is really horrible form, especially the biceps curls. This is not nearly intense enough and the weights employed are too heavy for him to produce optimal results. It's ALL about TUL (Time Under Load), trust me I do HIT properly and it's much better than this.
I agree that training is HARD work, IF you want a great body and to get bigger. But if you can´t handle 6 reps, you have too much weight. But here in my gym, there´s too much of those who smalltalks all the time and is training light, then they don´t understand why they are not getting bigger.
Worst feature is his forearms his not bad but his forearms could use some work.

I have trainned in a variety of ways. And have to say this is the most productive when done properly. Its not fair to be to critical because genes play a huge part in someones build. The bicep curls at the end are a waste of time. Rest pause, negatives etc would of been much more productive
Awesome bicep workout. I have trained on the Southern Xercise Bicep pull machine. There are six other TRU-LINE machines. All give you the same kick a workout!
