  • @mikerstudios , this film is really great! do you know if there is a name for this kind of genre? (where the action repeats).

  • Dude this is freakin amazing :)

  • Great job on this video! I'm very impressed! And you said most of this music is from the "Black Hawk Down" soundtrack?

  • Yes, as well as the Road to Perdition soundtrack and a few other songs I found in my library. Thanks for watching :)

  • great work with the plot, keep it up.

  • what was the music u used while the guy was running ?

  • There is quite a bit of running throughout. Which part are you speaking of?

  • like from 1:25-2:44

  • Sorry, took forever to get back to you. It's from the Black Hawk Down soundtrack I believe. Thanks for watching.

  • Good Stuff. Although I feel it would work much better with say a 5 minute run time.

  • I thought it was terrific, it made me jump and not many movies do. great remake

  • Thanks!

  • Silver, A lot of the film community (including em) doesn't believe Freddy isn't real.

No one "filmmaker" wise has met him which is very odd in the festivals he enters.

  • excuse me, i mean doesn't believe he's real.***

  • Exactly my point.

  • You did a great job mike!

  • Cool remake, in some ways it is a bit better than F.C. Rabbath's.

  • Yeah, it is easy to do something "better" after you steal an idea...you take all the good elements out of someone else's creativity and then sham it up a bit. And this is not better than FCrabbath's imo. Just plain dumb to rip someone off like that. FC is an amazing film writer, shooter, editor and director. Why? Cause he's got talent and originality. Make something new, or don't make it at all.

  • I do believe that Mike asked full permission to use and warp Freddy's original idea. And while I completly agree with the fact that it is better to be completly creative, that doesn't change the fact that Mike put his own creativness into this film.

  • I'd also like to add to my original comment... I am a loyal fan to Freddy Claude Rabbath, I have followed his work since 'The Bridge.' I am amazed by his talent, more advanced than most teenage filmmakers I've met. When I first stumbled upon this video I said to myself "Who the F*ck would remake an already great piece of work?" Then I checked out the movie in a slightly negitive attitude, which slowly dissolved throughout the movie. I was surprised how well Mike did. CONTINUE-->

  • He kept the original idea throughout the entire film, the only two things he cut out was the gun and the fact that the Trap was set by some sort of bad men. But that doesn't matter! So I say, again, that this is a perfect remake of Trap (I could have done no better). And I say to Mike: if one person was entertained by this film then your purpose is has been done. Film, photography, paintings, etc. are made to entertain an audience.

  • u realize FC was 15 when he made his version.

  • i like mikes one too!

  • nice road to perdition music lol

  • i go to sfhs

  • Mike, I freakin LOVE this movie! But Im telling ya, the next one you make starring me, is going to be your best movie EVER! Haha....cuz you are freakin awesome ya know...hahaha

  • Haha! Thanks..? You ready to start your acting career!?

  • I SURE AM! Lets get started!!!

  • again,

    freaking genius!
