Revamping him as a teen was the only way to make it work for the target audience, because it got rid of all the most questionable bits (weapons manufacturer, playboy, drunk, etc). I watched it prepared to hate it, and, while I'm still not wild about the premise, they've found a really interesting/compelling way to do the stories. So, yeah, the show is actually pretty decent.

This is an amazing show. And for the purist, if your so upset that they changed the format, how dare you call yourself a Marvel fan, hell a comic fan for that matter! Origin stories change all the time in the comic universe, if you like the original that much, than stick to the comics, or pick up the 90's Iron Man TV series, on DVD, and stop dragging this versions name through the dirt, for an asinine reason.

Guys, So far, the show is great. They changed that one detail (thus changing the whole show) but still, Its really good.
