Well we should encourage investment into medical savings accounts. Now I personally think medicare and medicaid should be abolished and replaced with investment in renewable energy, because you can sell it and it can pay for a lot f things. It's liquid. Also getting a pro-bono approach where you get some volunteer doctors. You can tell them if they operate on this guy. We'll make you a higher ranking doctor and for lesser surgeries get a doctor that only has a few years of education to help.
if renewable energy is such a great investment, then invest in it now. you are using the proverbial "we", as in the government, as in the government "investing" in things that do not make good actual investments, otherwise actual investors would be investing in it... doctors already do a lot of pro bono and uncompensated work. u saying someone in government assign award surgery based on charity work?these are not really thomas jefferson/marco rubio/constitutionalist ideas
insurance is for things you can't afford: i.e. tornado throws your house into the ocean. you can go to a walk-in clinic in your area with little wait and no insurance & see a dr for $40. you CAN'T buy insurace to just cover catastrophic events, pool with other buyers for better deals, or buy across state lines BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT WON'T LET YOU! the solution is to let you buy what you need for self relaince, not "fundamentally transform america"
I disagree! If it's a priority, you can afford some kind of health care! We've paid our own health care coverage for the last 10+ years. My wife drives a 1998 SUV, my kids wear hand-me-downs, and we don't have cable TV (among other things). For those 'folks' who cannot buy health insurance, maybe they should consider making harder choices.
There are plenty of idealogical differences between Crist and Rubio, Crist is hardly a fighter for the unborn, Cali-style emission requirements for vehicles, pro-stimulus, liberal judges for the courts...
Rubio states he is a Conservative and has the record to prove it!...
The U.S. already rations care. It's based on income: if you can afford care, you get it; if you cant, you dont. Many Americans skip treatments that their insurance companies refuse to cover, that's also rationing. Any "rational" person would find that "rationing" (pun intended) is actually way worse in US, the only wealthy industrialized nation with a private for-profit system.
It's also the only nation with a system where 44000 of its citizens to die every year due to lack of insurance.
rationing is much worse in in socialized medical systems. i know this first hand. not only that, the proletariat vs bourgois "income is bad-wealthy-non profit" marxist rhetoric is what the country is rebelling against. denying that people make money and have to pay for things is the beginning of the entire society being dragged down to the lowest common denominator. people die daily in england/canada/france due to crap health care. our health issues (obesity, etc) are self inflicted
Well spoken. This is the kind of campaigning Marco Rubio and his supporters should continue to do where Marco expresses his ideas and gives people reasons on why they should vote for him. I believe it's unwise for the Rubio campaign to constantly attack Crist's policies and continue the anti-crist ads. The campaign needs to get the American people to focus on Marco's ideas and not on Crist's performances and mistakes. Just a suggestion.
Crist has already begun some negative campaigning; and, it will only get worse. Marco speaks to and for the people. If I was in Florida, that would be paramount for me.
I agree with him, but some folks cannot buy health insurance! What do we do for them?
I am not endorcing obama care in any way, shape or form, but I wonder about those who get lost in the cracks!

Wow. Sounds like a very rational guy. Scarcity of those in many political races. Sending him a campaign donation immediately.

That's exactly right Mr. Rubio.

Awesome! I agree with everything you said, and that's pretty rare from a politician.
