  • There's no substitute for an upper cervical chiropractic adjustment. I had migraines for 18 years. GONE in 2 weeks thanks to chiropractic. No religion or belief about it. All the elavil and painkillers couldn't do jack for my C2 PRI subluxation.

  • Damn right!

  • why do so many sports massages often involve a thrust to the back to restore movement? surely there is only so much that rubbing oil into skin can do. ive been to both and personally, i felt that the massage was a waste of money, because my back still hurt after treatment. that was a sham. however, with a proper adjustment, the difference was incredible. pity i wasted money on the 'sports massage' to cure my back pain.

  • you obviously havent had a good massage from a skilled therapist. I always feel 90% better. When I get a tx from one of those clicker guys I feel like you

  • So what mechanism continues to tighten your muscles or radiate pain down your extremities? Get thee to a chiropractic doctor young man!

  • Its only considered 'fraud' by the old school medical proffession. i know that your average GP would disagree with the use of Chiro, purely because they were not taught it at med school, and therefore do not accept it (yet). it will only be a matter of time before the ignorant open their eyes and accept chiropractic to be just as important as every other type of treatment. you could argue and say that massage, podiatry, optometry, chemotherapy is 'new age'. fact is, people still need caring for.

  • As an X chiropractic student i have to agree with 'Blndfist' that the whole concept of chiropractic is a scam that is totally geared towards conning money of people. From all the skills i learned at the university i would say that a massage is just as affective if not more benefical than what chiropractors offers. This is why im going into massage therpy. My only regret is that i wish i had done something worth doing at uni instead of wasting time with a load of shallow money grabbing con men

  • You know..you sound vaguely familiar. We've had a drop out who couldn't keep up with academics back when I was in chiro school. He became very hateful and malicious towards chiropractic after that. Well, don't blame chiropractic for your failure.

  • Oh i dont blame Chiropactic for my failure. I blame people like you. Oh no in your tiny little mind there cant be any other reason for my opinion other than the fact that i must have dropped out. well hey in your mind you have to be right because just like religon you have invested to much into your bullshit belief system for it not to be true. Its not only me who is of this opinion. There are chiropractors who manage to graduate and said the same thing about your freemansonic cult profession

  • "Clap clap clap!" Now you feel better ex-chiro student? You failed and you want others to fail with you. There are many other ways to lick your wounds, but don't spit beautiful chiropractic from your tongue. READERS, this ex-chiropractic student was not able to complete his studies. A major clue is: How in the hell did he end up in chiropractic school in the first place? Parents drop him off at the wrong school? NO! Missed his exit off I-80? NO! He wanted to be closer to his girlfriend? NO!?????

  • Hey man, even you've admitt they'll let pretty much anyone into chiropracty school; they don't even have admission interviews or an entrance exam! Hell, even undergraduate schools have an entrance exam.

Chiropracty has already shot its load (subluxation theory) and unfortunately for them it had a zero sperm count.

  • LISTEN UP EVERYONE! I have an important announcement. cowy1 is really my younger brother. He's a friend not foe of chiropractic. My kid brother is just a little pissed off at me for taking his GAME-BOY without asking him. cowy1, I apologize for not asking you and I won't take your friggin GAME-BOY again as long as you apologize to chiropractic. Deal? Sorry folks. I believe he'll accept my apology and give his too. Just give him some time. Thanks, I really appreciate your patience.

  • You know, you sound like a true believer, willing to discount whatever or whoever in any manner you can think of (true or not)to validate your kooky little belief system.

It would be cute if it wasn't so sad.

  • Look, we'll get you a Nintendo Wii, if that's what you want. Just stop being so steamin' mad OK? But, that doesn't mean you skip your homework or mommy and daddy will take it back!

  • Been there!

  • Ouch! Love the waiting room scene.

  • so chiropractic and massage therapy are the same?

  • Not at all though some DCs may do soft tissue treatment along with adjustments. DCs alos do much more, and are physicians. They do x-rays, diagnose, and rehab. They do refer to massage therapist in some cases.

But one gets 1 year of school, the other 6-8 years.

So they are certainly not the same.

  • yup, whidbeydc is right. chiropractic do require a lot of study than massage therapy. That's why people call them doctor of chiro and no one call doctor of massage. See the different. I, myself have been under chiropractic care for year. I really love my doctor technique. He did really good job at internal adjusting. He has a lot of knowlege, I even have him check my breasts annually too.

  • You have him "check" your breasts? WTF is wrong with you? Go to a real fucking doctor you loon. Your chiropractor is not a real doctor and has ZERO qualifications to diagnose ANYTHING let alone something as critical as breast cancer. My god you people are fucking credulous and dumb.

  • Did you forget to take your medication?

  • "Medication"? Thought you weird fucking looney new agers didn't believe in medication? After all, chiropractic can cure all your ills right? Grow fucking up idiot; you're being scammed. Chiropractic in theory and practice is a fraud.

  • Erm Looks like You got scammed . Yeah you stick with your MD's I hear Harold Shipman has plenty of time for new patients these days.

  • Nope; never been scammed. Reason why I have never been scammed is because I have never and will never use a chiropractor. Chiropractic's "curative" effects are no different than massage; any claims to curing real disease is just simple and pure fraud.

  • I'm very sorry that you are a moron. :)

  • The only morons around here are the idiots like you who have been duped and con'd into believing that so-called "chiropractic" has any effect beyond that of placebo and what one could expect from ordinary massage. Live in reality you lunatic.

  • And you never went to a chiropractor but then you can say that to us that have been helped by chiros. You are the weakest and missing link! MORON!

  • I've never been to a chiropractor because I know they are full of shit; so why would I waste my time. The weight of medical research is against you if you believe chirpractic has any affect on health other than simple placebo and that which can be obtained through massage. Nothing else. The fact that you believe otherwise highlights your stupidity and shows just how gullable of an idiot you are.

  • Hey idiot. There are a lot of credible research out there for the efficacy of chiropractic treatment. I'm no longer sorry you're a moron.

  • The weight of medical research actually shows that chiropractic is the BEST choice of care for patient's with musculoskeletal spinal pain. Look at The Official Disability Guidelines recommendations (written by a bunch of MDs), PubMed, JMPT, etc. Oh yeah, and 100 years of patient experiences. What about the research on anti-depressants? In 7 out of 10 cases, no more effective than a sugar pill. Talk about placebo!!

  • No it does not; the "weight of medical research" shows no such thing. Chiropractic con men would have you believe that, but it is simply a lie. The effects from chiropractic are no different from what one might get from ordinary massage. And, massage is far less costly. In any case, lower back pain is only a very small slice of what the con man chiropractor claims he can cure; how he claims he can cure it is also highly suspect. Grow up and stop living in fantasy land.

  • Hahaha! You have him touch your tits? Dumbass, chiropractic has NOTHING to do with breast cancer or anything related to breasts whatsoever. He just wanted to feel you up. You've been molested by a fraud, you gullible retard!
