It was sad the way the series ended aside from being so different from the manga. I'm sure the producers saw the chopping block and thought they needed to wrap quick. I would have rather seen Clare kill Priscilla using her abilities, not awaken, because the power ups felt too DBZ. They left enough openings for another series, which I hope they make because I thought the story was pure genius.
