The upload might be slow due to if your internet is slow or if you on wireless, your connection to your router is bad!

i compress to DivX FORMAT 16:9 , it takes 5 mins to upload a 5 min video

Nice vid and quality,i think it takes ages to upload is because its over 1gb when I used to make videos over that size it took all night to upload as well!
