Dual Survival is a really great show to watch, I don't see how people can actually be bored with it. Yeah there are other good survival type shows and well like man vs. wild but it's really no better than Dual Survival and watch Discovery all the damn time.

If you can't find that you can dig a hole in a sand band near the river and the water that seeps threw into the hole will be somewhat filtered. Then you can coal burn a wood bowl to rock boil the water in.

i completely agree. it takes most water caused illnesses 5-7 days to cause problems. statistically you are rescued within the first 72hrs. i am a wilderness first responder and teach search and rescue courses for years. also was a combat medic for a few years in the army.

When I first watched an episode of Dual Survival, I thought it was more educational, entertaining, and believable than Man vs. Wild. Just because Bear is good, doesn't mean that these guys are bad. In fact, they are experts at survival.

Alot of people want bear back so bad because he is more "exciting". I wouldn't say he's better at this stuff than cody and dave. But he brings something to the table that they dont and vice versa.
