Why the hell are the 2 top rated comments from the same person saying the same thing? *Sigh*, there really is no hope for the human race, it seems that the pinnacle of our brilliance was reached centuries ago...
@TheDariussilve Well , it doesn't get loud even if its overheated from non-stop playing (10 hours), I've tried that. By the way the temperatures after 10H playing games get really fast to normal when you stop playing.
Well, I have the version that has the inferior i5 processor, and I could not run it at max, but it was pretty close. All settings were on high instead of "very high". Who knows how much of a difference the i7 would make. At the very least it will run it almost maxed out.
@DragonflyLord i5 has hyperthreading Technology which allows 1 core to do two things at once so an i5 is like a "Quad Core" and a i7 is like a "8? Core" dunno the word
@UnDeRGrounDGaMiiNG ithink the i7 is quad core but it has more hyperthreading that allows each to run with like 4 things at one or maybye its just a 6 cpre?its been 3 months have u found out yet?lol
Umm, I can't really answer that for you. The computer is certainly fast, and can run most new games on max settings, but who knows about future games (since you can't upgrade the gpu on a laptop).
If you don't care about portability I'd go with a home built desktop, but if you absolutely have to game on go (like me), I think the qosmio line from toshiba is tough to beat.
On my version of qosmio , its play-able on very high , the FPS stays about 30-60 mostly all the time , but without AA or 2x/4x AA. On the real MAX settings you can get from crysis , like Very high + 16xHQAA , its not playable and the fps is about 10 to 15. .. btw its about 2 years or so old Qosmio , the newer versions like Qosmio x500 with i7 should handle theese games perfectly.
I don't think it would make a huge difference whether the new qosmio had the core i5 or i7 really. They both have the same nividia geforce gts 360m which is what's most important for gaming.
which Qosmio did you get? I have the X305-701 . One of the earlier verisons. And i love mine. Only wish it had more hard disk space . But other wise i love it ^.^
Well on the box is X300-14y version , i love mine also :) .. it runs mostly everything on max. settings thanks to 1gb gpu , even GTA IV , im proud of it ;)

I wouldn't, thinking on that it is a laptop. And it will maybe produce to much heat. Idk

@DragonflyLord the "i" series is native quad core and has greater than the core two, but i am not sure about graphics cards.

You are correct. My mistake.

I don't know, I have never played crysis before. Maybe I should download the demo to see how it runs huh?
I am playing bioshock 2 right now though (new 2010 game) and I can easily max it out. The FPS are 50-60.
