My DVD review:

-OK, it's an independent, low budget movie; picture/sound etc. quality can not compete with Lord of the Rings

-Casper has a hand for soundtracks

-Jamie Hatchett is brilliant. His mimic/gesture flow so naturally during the steady mood changes of Tyler without "overacting" and, hence, getting too annoying or too sweet

-The "defyning sleeping with"-scene is content and actingwise a highlight

-Nice extras (outtakes, honest yet funny cast interviews, a hilarious street survey etc.)

-He is not imitating anyone, you only see two scenes of him and if you had seen the others you'd know it

-No, it is not a porn, but it is somehow typical for gay movies to put sexy scenes in the trailer.

-@MsDanRadcliffe I understand your point, though SS is a comedy (which usually have cliches/exaggeration) and not a "who am I"-drama like EoS. But while some characters are stereotypes, others are not, that makes Slutty Summer a nice comedy

Actually, if you watch the peron75 interview with the cast of this movie for the "sequel" (A Four Letter Word), the writer/director addresses this exact issue! You should watch! It's a bit long, but very good!
