@jaimeexd I agree with you, but this challenge you're talking about is a huge fake: it's shameful that we have to play in high ranks after killing many times the monsters and their alternate forms to feel a difficulty. Furthermore, builds, stuffs and skills that we have which many armors kill the charm of Monster Hunter: hunt or be hunted. And yes, I have played and finished all Monster Hunter games released today (online or offline), and my experience of these games since 2005 is based on this.

@KaliLockheart Gentlemen... Game developers will always do what we dont want them to. Its like wishing for immortality n being turned into a rock. The point is... The nastalgia. I ll always return to Monster Hunter. Whether its a good or a bad game. I ll give it a shot. Capcom has come out w/ some very intense n in depth game. I ll always root for my champs regardless if they disappoint me. Its a double edged sword tryin to keep us gamers satisfied ^^

@KaliLockheart MHFU was a G-rank game incorporated with all previous console and portable monsters. So is MH3G. Try MH3G, then you can make this comment. MHTri was introduced on the Wii to bring to a wider audience and show them the potential of the series. The fans that enjoyed the challenge, albeit how small it was, will go on and purchase further games in the series, which will provide harder challenges.

You really should try Monster Hunter, it's a fantastic game. SO far out here is Monster Hunter 1,Monster Hunter Freedom, Monster Hunter Freedom2 and on June23'rd Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is coming out. In unite you can get a felyne or melynx to join you on hunts.

i'm a lancer and GL user. and i'm suck in using LS, SnS, GS or DS or even bow. maybe should practice more on that weapon. i don't know why. but i think using lancer and GL makes me feel quite safe. LOL. and i hate dodging like all the time. i'm HR6 in MHF2 and HR57 in MHF2ndG. but still think that i'm a noob cause only use 2 types of weapon. and using GL or lancer to fight certain monster is fucking annoying! =.=' BTW, this video is very nice. 5/5. :D

it ok u can use the weapon u fight better . but the only way u cam master GL and L is if u master all the techniques . 4 example me im aa GS user the only way i can master it is if learn the timing of EVERY MONSTER IN THE that includes when to land a lv 3 charge without been touch. (^_^) now i start it mh 2nd g .(^_^)

Yeah, I normally stick to using lances and gunlances myself (the former more than the latter) though I've recently picked up using Heavy Bowguns, sometimes Light. I find that anything I can't easily kill with a lance I can hammer pretty nicely, you might want to pick one up and try it.

The PS2 versions of the Monster Hunter series are or used to be online (not sure if they still run the servers) and the portable versions are offline, unless you buy Wifimax and download xlink Kai. Of course, you may play Ad Hoc mode with 4 friends.

Also, if you're looking for an MMORPG, then there's Monster Hunter Frontier Online, but it's in Japanese...And there's a Korean version too.
