  • This blows me away - I wrote this song with Emmet in 1970 - and recorded the demo in Conn. We then were signed to Columbia w/Jimmy Einer producing and Ralph Towner arranging. Unfortunately it was never relased. Emmet went on to pursue a carreer of teaching guitar and I'm still playing with the New Jersey band

    "Holme"

  • Hey, I know your dad! Worked with him musically some in GWS.

  • @apocolypsa The song "My Friend" was one of the better cuts on his album

  • Do you know what the picture with the ball player at the end is. I know Emmetts brother Sonny was a good ball player and tried out for the Yankees or the Dodgers not sure which team.

  • I am a long time fan of Emmett. Have his album that he gave to me personally in 1970. Never heard this piece before though.

  • @Fabro711 - this Hans Peter Schulle - I did 2 albums with Emmett - and I wrote the music for Waltz for me - we recorded it at CBS but it was never released - what your hearing is a demo we recorded at our house in Conn - Thanks, for your intrest, Hans Peter

  • you can't possibly be an Emmett Finley fan. Who is? So I'm curious as to how you heard of him. Do you have the album this is from? I thought he only did one album and I don't know this song.

  • you're his daughter! I see now. I knew him a few years before you were born.
