xygs, i hope you one day have the chance to find out just how cranky a cold big camshaft V8 engine is when you try to coax it into life. I'm sure you already know what a warmed up one is like as it'd blow the doors off your "quick startup" 1999 Toyota Camry.

I'll take big overlap cam over economy and auto anyday my son.

Hi All

This is my car. It had NOS Ford muffler and resonators on it at the time ( GT Nats WA 2007 ) - with ' Ford ' in raised imprint on the galvanised iron mufflers. This would be the only record of what they actually sounded like in late 1971 that I've heard and possibly the last as the exhaust has now sadly expired. Racing fuel seems to speed up that process :) The cam is as close to original as possible. Enjoy

Pahse 3 GTHO's had 2 cams available. Both were 40-80 in, 84-36 ex. with .495" lift in the normal HO's and .525" lift on the 30 Bathurst Specials.
