  • What camera did you use to make this video?

  • @horticulturalchannel

    It's a Samsung HMX-H100.

  • wont the fish die at that temperature??

  • @dheemahit

No, they winter in the warmer water at the bottom. The pond is about 80cm (2.6 feet) deep. The same way like fish in frozen rivers and lakes don't die in winter. And they get their oxygen by using an airpump which keeps one spot iceless.

  • haha cool ! do u have any fish in the pond during the winter ?

  • @SvampusFish

The same fish like in summer, I don't move them.

  • @n03lzz okay, what kind of fish is it ? :)

  • @SvampusFish

  • @n03lzz oh, right ;)

  • @n03lzz okay, what kind of fish is it ? :)

  • very cool video. time lapses are so interesting. That bird just kept coming back :P

  • @AquaStudent

There're many blackbirds (and also other birds) that drink at my pond, so it's not just the same bird.

  • @n03lzz It looked like there was one specific bird that liked to drink out of your pond the most. But yes there are multiple birds

  • the little bird is loving life around that, cool vid

  • @TheBigfishcatcher01

    Thanks.

I'd assume it's the one and only place in the proximity to get some water, when all the other ponds, rivers or puddles are completely frozen.

  • @n03lzz ye man it looks great with the snow around it 2 ,nice stuff

  • @TheBigfishcatcher01
