  • I really admire and enjoying your combat style brod Luke. We look forward to learn more basic techniques from your such great ideas in the field of martial arts.

  • impressive

  • great vid.

footage + song are excellent ;)

  • Luke, I´m yours fan, what´s from Brazil? you tacticals very good! congragulations!!!!

  • 0:35 looks excellent!!

  • Do you have a vid like this but in a normal mode so you don't have to slow down it would be a greaet help :D

  • nice!!!

  • Haha, with this guy, it would be silly of anyone to bring a gun to a knife fight.

  • Awesome - is there a slow motion version of what you do at 0:37 somewhere?

  • It's not Krav-Maga, doesn't look like Aikido either. anyways, I enjoyed a video. Nice moves and good skills. H2H Combat is the best.

  • 1:04 is awsome

  • @cavity1010 The one at the very end is awesome also!

  • one thing to remeber if you are in an actual fight not competition an actual life threatining fight is that if its an equal fight your tactics suck and also the more angry an enemy is the more likly they will slip up and can be killed you can also create openings by landing small blows and make them focus on that area but then attack a whole different part of the body but that takes training and skill

  • great stuff ,very smooth, very effective please keep sharing your knowledge for those who cant train with you in person.

  • killer moves... u gotta teach me those.. i wana keep it and put it to good use as a tae kwon do student..

  • Awsome job and awsome skills and as Andrew said it would be an honor to train with u :) ... btw whats the song called?

    Keepi it up buddy ...

  • Thank you :)

umm, I think its keep slippin' the remix..

    I cant remember.

  • Can you give me the information so I can buy your level one knife fighting course and R.A.W. silat course.

  • Its hard to beat a trained opponent but thats why you walk jack moves.

  • Mean Baby, mean !!! Fantasik moves!

  • You're welcome. Please let me know if you ever come to NYC-I would be honored to meet and train with you!

    Andrew

  • Thanks for sharing. Great videos and technique. Just wondering if you have any training in Pekiti Tirsia Kali (the system I studied) or Piper knife system (interesting style I came across online) from South Africa. I am focusing more on my sensitivity and flow through Tai Chi practice with a master who understands applications so it's nice to see you performing at such a high level while maintaining the integrity of Tai chi principles.

  • Sorry I dont have experience in either of those arts however my favourite thing to do is taiji admitidly... :) Thank you for the kind words and support :)

  • BTW I also love Taiji, not just bc I'm Chinese, but also bc it is all of the good stuff (flow, sensitivity, etc.) without the negativity (undue emphasis on dissecting your opponent, adversarial outlook, violent intent, etc.)

  • nice vid. whats the song called?

  • Nice work! Its not hard to see that you got amazing control with the knife. Like the fact that you teach people how to disarm an attacker, not just kill. Keep it up!

  • Erm..... Nice work, but I seen people at my Karate Club move faster with extremely long sticks....... You moved quite slow to be honest, I'm not sure if you were instructing them and showing them, if you were, then that's fine but if you were learning from someone, I would suggest being faster =) just a suggestion, my friend got his nose broken because he was too slow to block....... Anyway, nice work.

  • Im not sure if you watched the whole thing.. To answer a Q; yes, most of it is from the instructional series or seminars where I explain, only a couple of things were done at half speed at that. Im quite aware of the impacting factors and element of shortening response time as it is the main goal of our training. In any case, if you prefer karate and suits you then you best stick with it. Maybe they are faster then me... Thats wonderful :)

  • =P lol, I thought u might be instructing someone in some parts, and yea, I didn't watch all of it =P

  • Right.... And you think I move slow??? hmm. tell you what.. How bout you post a vid of yourself doing something better... Suggestions are welcomed as always but my suggestion to you is stick to your Karate and you will be happy in your Lunch box world.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Karate...

that explains why you made that comment HAHAHAHA

  • damn good skills shown here today on this video. i have been practicing for awhile and i see new moves each day , practical and impractical.. these are great tecniques that seem very PRACTICAL. thats the whole thing with fighting or defending against....."what am i learning that is really gonna work?" once again. good video and i will watch the rest of the videos on here as wel. good job sifu luke. i'll definately be interested in a seminar indeed.

  • Luke where did u get ur training ? man ur tactics are simple but deadly .. great job mate ...

  • Thank you- My base is in Taiji, Tong Long & Silat. I have done other forms but this is what Raw is based on..

  • Luke, what knife do you suggest for self defense?

Do you bring a knife with you if you go somewhere?

  • Knife for SD??

I like cold steel the best- but I dont need a knife to defend myself.

Recently I used a cigarette to the guys neck- I also used a set of keys, a pen, a bottle- with the same skills. I dont care unless on my way to training..

  • All of that is fine and dandy, but can you chop lettuce? lol

    ;-p

    -TKO

  • nice video ;)

  • good job~!

  • Nice!
