Friday the 13th movies have become classics, yet The Burning was just an obscure cash-in flick that most people forgot about. I wonder if this is his actual opinion, or he was just sucking up for his Burning interview.

Besides, if he's still pissed that they changed ONE thing from the first movie, he'll miss some great flicks. Granted, it does take away some effect from the first movie, but there's other Ft13 movies that are better recieved than the original.

Friday the 13 is not a series to explain much storyline, is more like to enjoy.

And I have to admit that the story line is extremely weak, but I still love it. why? Because I don't watch specting much of a masterpiece, but from a fan spectation.

He did part 4 with Joseph Zito (The Prowler) to end the series. He was pissed off to see the way it went so he took the decision to kill Jason once and for all. Tom savini invented Jason, based on a kid he saw in his neighborhood when he was a child. Let go off the Jason, Michael Myers, Freddy and Leatherface, they're all dead 20+ years ago. And Hollywood made a mess trying to bring em back! Pinhead from Hellraiser and The Tall Man from Phantasm are the only killers left.....

Pinhead and The Tall Man are cool because they're more than just some super humans. We still have no idea who or what The Tall Man is, and Pinhead is some horrible demon. They were invincible from the beginning. Leatherface never died though, but he might have died off screen at the end of TCM2. Either way, producers didn't changed the canon to bring him back, he was never dead.

Savini knows his FX, he's a friggin ledgend with effects, And thanks to it he has also become a Pop Icon of Horror. .... Heres the Logic behind it: We made him famous. If not for us Savini might have turned out like the thousands of other Effects Wizards who we NEVER HEAR ABOUT! .... but we never said Tom's opinion on Logic in Fictional Film is why we like him.
