sonic 2 is the best game for the genesis bar none. i remember my first time beating it. i was beyond pissed wen i finally beat metal sonic only to fight robotnik immediately after. i had only 2 lifes left and had to make them count...it was all about getting robotniks timing down just right...once i beat him,i was extremely relieved because i had been playing for 4 hours and had developed a headache. best use of a school day EVER!!!!

I don't think I've seen this one back then. I never really liked their exaggerated commercials that compared both systems when SNES was far superior. Sega should have had more commercials like this one focusing on great exclusive games. I sided with Nintendo through and through but I admit Sonic & Knuckles was an awesome idea.

Sonic 3 and S&K we're actually one big game, but they we're divided onto two cartriges due to the game being too big.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles is what Sonic 3 would have been like if the carts we're bigger.

This is probably my favorite Sonic adventure. Flying Fortress, Lava Reef and Sky Sanctuary are all awesome zones. Probably has the best music out of the entire series as well (on Mega Drive). The lock on technology was pure genius.

My fav is also the whole pyramid in Sonic Adventure 2 battle. It's the same thing as Sandopolis in Sonic and Knuckles too...even the boss sonic has to fight is similar to the mid level boss...smack the head till you beat him. And the ghosts. The only real difference is you don't use lanterns to defeat ghosts. lol

So, Capcom recycles shit all the time. Listen to X v.s Zero's theme in both MMX 5 and MMX6, it's the same song. Also look at Chill Man's and Tornado Man's artwork (not sprites), they reused Tornado Man's head on Chill Man. History is due to repeat itself. xP
