I love Haley and Lauren and I would have loved them both in the finale but third place is still a huge accomplishment. It's too bad that someone has to go, but this is still life changing for all of them. So enough with the hate comments about Lauren and Scotty, all three should be proud :)

I know she wants to win, but show some humility and dignity towards your other contestants. Secondly, she clears says at 0:07 "dont touch me." That's pretty self explanitory. Idol did a injustice, to the best singers, who were voted off. I will never believe, the votes were accurate. The way I look at it, they used Lauren and Scott, for ratings. They weren't the worst,but not the strongest from the bunch. Idol lost it's credibility for me. I hope they don't screw around, with next season. If, they mess this up, there going to lose plenty of viewers.
I think it's awesome that a talented person finally won but I don't really get it, what happens to that boy and girl at the left of the stage, do they get anything? I mean they should have at least get them off there since they were completely out of the competition.

Why does everyone think that Haley is a bitch? Because she smiled during Pia and James's eliminations? Haley smiles all the time. Even on Casey's elimination and she even started smiling on her own elimination (although she was shocked at first). Lauren started clapping her hands and smiling like a little girl when Haley was eliminated but people still consider her an angel. At the end of Haley's last performance, she went to Lauren and Scotty to hug them when it should be the other way around.

I think it's awesome that a talented person finally won but I don't really get it, what happens to that boy and girl at the left of the stage, do they get anything? I mean they should have at least get them off there since they were completely out of the competition.

@Rawrceo Even if Haley didn't win in the show, she did for me. I made the comment as if she had won and lauren and the guy had nothing else to do there and hadn't been properly eliminated, so I was asking what they would do with them since haley had already won..

Dislike this video no offence to the maker, but I'm disliking because Haley should have won and I'm not watching the finally with 2 old country bums. Lauren did her happy jumping crap before she hugged Haley. Scotty sounds like the following Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, and plenty of others.

I think that performance made some people think again. Honestly, she should have won, and the finale should have been her and Lauren. She IS the seasons star along with Pia. I think they will outsell and ebcome more famous than both finalists combined.

The performances for the American Idol finale were all mediocre and boring, nothing special, unique or creative. Haley Reinhart would have done a better job and should have been in the finals !

I can't believe it! seriously. Th finally will be boring, :( Lauren is good, but i didn't like their performances, Haley gave everything, se was VERY GOOD.
I think that Scotty was more voted for the girls, because he is sweet, and his voice is particular, but CASEY JACOB JAMES? OMG they were, sorry they are REALLY REALLY GOOD. i'll miss Haley. I really hated to see her leave! But I've wanted Lauren to win all along. She may not have won American Idol, but it's not over for her. Not by a long shot. And absolutely nobody, and I mean NOBODY can beat her in singing "Benny and the Jets"! I think she even beat Elton John at his own song! Nicely done Haley! We love you!! :)

Not every one puts on a false front. Haley was always sweet and respectful..but so many people confuse standing up for yourself as being rude. Did she ever say "Randy you're dumb for saying that" "Jennifer what kind of idiotic criticism is that?" No, she said how she felt in a very mature and kind way. The judges were assholes to her and she took so much shit compared to Lauren and Scotty who everyone finds so sweet and innocent. Open your fucking eyes and stop being so ignorant.

To every one who is a douche fuck -- Haley wasn't pissed she was going home... of course at first she was in shock, but then five seconds later like a TRUE artist she got the flip over it and was a strong individual and put on one of the best performances of the show. Stop saying she is a bitch, hoe, asshole, rude, or whatever other name you have for it. She is REAL unlike a lot of people who come on this show. She stands up for herself and her music. I love her for that, she isn't fake

Why does everyone think that Haley is a bitch? Because she smiled during Pia and James's eliminations? Haley smiles all the time. Even on Casey's elimination and she even started smiling on her own elimination (although she was shocked at first). Lauren started clapping her hands and smiling like a little girl when Haley was eliminated but people still consider her an angel. At the end of Haley's last performance, she went to Lauren and Scotty to hug them when it should be the other way around.

Someone has to give Haley a record deal!!!!! She has an awesome voice and should be in the top 2 (minus Lauren). I love that signature growl!! And I have to say Bennie and the Jets was my fav performance of hers. Im sure Elton John is proud!! Congratz Haley for making it as far as you did! In my eyes you are THE 2011 American Idol. Can't wait for your album to come out, b/c honey you are going places with that voice!

reading all of the comments on haley's elimination, I am able to see how ignorant some people are. What gives you the right to call haley an ungrateful bitch, scotty fuckin horrible, or lauren a fat bitch? The truth is that they all have differnent styles and they all love what they do. They are talented in their own ways.
