i was there in PDC during Wilma, in the Playacar complex...luckily we had a safe place to stay in and didnt suffer too much from the hurricane, but when we went out it was devastated like the video shows...the mexicans have all rebuilt very quickly, i feel for them, hope they wont suffer more with Dean this year

I lived a block away from Mamita's during the storm. And use to swim by the lifeguard hut every morning. Just up from where this was shot. Hard to believe it was almost a year ago. What an experience! I will never forget it.
