As mattrwhite said they are sliding alot but they were able to adapt to the slick surface. The katas were beautiful and because of the change in enviroment the demonstrators were able to flow with the change.
The name "jojutsu" in this ryu is an example of how the Japanese use jo and bo interchangeably. The staff in this clip is obviously longer than what TODAY is considered a standard Jo, which is 128 cm. Actually at one point, Shinto Muso-ryu Jodo was known as Shinto Muso ryu Bojutsu. Heh, it's not easy doing research with no standardized terms ^_^
@FredDude27 This is bullshit, Shintō Musō-ryū was made for the Jo. It was never know as "Shinto Muso ryu Bojutsu". Gonnosuke was a load fail with his bo, which lead him to create SMR Jojutsu. Or so say the legend(which is more believable then your made up crap).
Really cool stuff, but they should have removed the tabi, it made it look lke budo on ice. Muhi Muteki-ryu jojutsu rocks, it's a very hard, aggressive style of jojutsu.

They are very skill-full

I'd love to see this on a stable surface. You can tell they're really having to watch the distance and timing because they're sliding so much.
If anybody knows this group, con them into putting up another demo!!!
