Couple of octaves? No, Whitney hasn't lot a COUPLE of octaves. But she hasn't sung any C6 since early 1990's. Even though her voice has gone more heavy and raspy at some parts, she still can sing.

But I bet she can still get up there now if she wanted. Trust Whitney will always be a high soprano. Maybe raspy high soprano now, but still a high soprano like Momma Cissy!

@SeveralMimi Yep Brunei she hit A6, that was in 1996, she hit a whistle like note in Tapei ILTL in upper sixth octave, plus she hit a Bb6 Kolding all the Man I Need, and she hit plenty of C6's and e-flats and above on Bodyguard tour. Plus even ILTY she hit a whistle chirp Rome I Didn't know my Own strength above C6 real quick on break part. Whitney still has a very very wide range!
